Chapter 2

I got up off the floor and carefully went to my room trying not to step on any of the broken pieces of glass. When I get to my room I get out my Nike bag and put it on my bed. I pack all my nice clothes and whatever else i needed. I went to the bathroom and had a shower to get all the blood off me.
I put on my black Calvin Klein bra and underwear and put on my nike pros and a grey sweatshirt.
I go back into my room and put on my black Nikes. Sponsored or what?
I text brook to see if she is awake

Me: Hey are you awake?❤
Brook💗: Hey yeah, what's up?
Me: I will be at yours in like 15 minutes x
Brook💗: Okay see you soon x

I put my hair in a low ponytail and put on my Nike hat (I swear i hate Nike😂) I climb out the window and down the tree with my bag on my shoulder.
I put my earphones in and started to walk.
5 minutes later I see a black car pull up beside me.
Oh shit, no not tonight please.
The window rolls down and i'm ready to run. But the window reveals a fine ass guy with a jawline that could cut through anything.
"need a ride anywhere" He asks me
"umm actually yes i do" i say getting in the car. I tell him the address and where to go. He told me he lived one street down (booyah!) He turned on the light and I look away immediately because i don't want him to my beat face.
"Can I please see your face" he asks
Oh shit Alissa think. Dude, just do it you don't know the guy. I look up slowly with tears starting to form in my eyes. He just looks at me in shock.

{Ethan's POV}
I was doing a night drive to get away from my brother, Grayson, and I see a girl walking down the street and she looked like she was in pain so I stopped and asked if she needed a ride. Gladly, she said yes and it was dark so I couldn't see her face, so I asked her to reveal her face to me. When she finally turned around I was in so much shock. She had half a black eye, a blood nose and a busted lip. How the fuck did this happen.
"Where are you on your way to" I say angrily
"my best friends house" she says with her voice cracking
"okay not anymore we are going to the hospital" I say
"Wait can we at least go get her"
I agree to go and get her best friend for her. She is beautiful I don't know why someone would do this to her

{Alissa's POV}
I was kind of in shock when he told me he was taking me to the hospital but I do need to, I'm pretty sure i have multiple cuts on my back from landing on the coffee table. I would really like to know his name though. He seems like a really nice guy (hard to find these days)
"hey umm what's your name" I ask him
"My name is Ethan, and yours" he asks back
"Alissa"
"Well, Alissa it's wonderful to meet you"

We finally got to Brook's house and I got out of the car a little too quickly because I fell right back down and everything went bright like I was going to pass out. Ethan ran to my side of the car and helped me up slowly. We walked to the front door while Ethan was helping me walk. My back was aching so much and my legs were hurting too. Why would my mother do this to me? I knocked on the door and waited for Brook to come answer the door but she didn't. I got out my phone to text her and I sat down on the the seat and Ethan sat down next to me.

Me: yo, i'm here did you fall asleep on me?
Brook💗: *no reply*
Me: yep of course you did... if you wake up later i will either be at the hospital or somewhere else, I'll let you know❤

I look over to Ethan and I can see the anger in his face. I told him Brook was sleeping and that we could go straight to the hospital.
I had always wondered what it was like to have a guy who isn't your dad look after me. He is definitely a keeper... unlike Alex.

So that is chapter two i hope you enjoyed it... If you are wondering Alissa doesn't know who Grayson is yet in fact she doesn't know anything about Ethan... and Ethan doesn't know anything about Alissa...
