They sailed out of Tortuga, Elizabeth didn't trust the man they so generously brought along. Jack told the man earlier that, he'd slit his throat if he touched Elizabeth. Elizabeth felt safety in that agreement. But not enough.
"OK mate. We need a map for the gem." Jack told the man.
"I don't have a map. Don't you know where Calypso is?" The man asked as he lightly scratched his head.
"Give me the gem mate." Jack reached out his arm. The man with no name looked at his branding scar 'p'.
"Alrighty then." The man reached into his satchel.
Pulling out the most beautiful gem Jack and Elizabeth have ever seen.
"It's beautiful." Elizabeth said in amazement.
The man passed the gem to Elizabeth. Elizabeth looked deeply into the gem, and saw Will's face.
"Will!?" Elizabeth screamed as she dropped the gem.
Jack caught it quickly right before it hit the ground.
"What in the world was that for?" Jack said as he put the gem on the table.
"I-I-I saw W-Will." Elizabeth said as she started to cry.
Jack hugged Elizabeth, she dug her face into his chest.
"It's alright dearie, its gonna be ok luv." Jack tried to comfort Elizabeth.
"Hummer." The man said.
"What?" Jack asked.
"My name. It's Hummer." Hummer said as he fixed his wig.
"You will call me Captain. This is yer pirate king Elizabeth Turner."
Hummer bowed to Elizabeth. Jack gestured Hummer to stop, Jack picked up the gem; heavy in his hands. He looked deeply into it, attempting to see something. But nothing, clear as glass.
"It ain't working." Jack said as he passed it to Elizabeth.
"I don't think I can." Elizabeth her tears began to return and she started trembling.
She looked deeply into the gem. Both men sat there silently. Will appeared, Elizabeth held back her tears. Calypso then appeared replacing Will's image. Words flew past her figure as she switched forms between different people. Elizabeth held the gem to her ear. "Compass...The king and his men stole the queen from her bed, and bound her in her bones... Will... " The gem whispered in Calypso's voice.
''I know where to find Calypso." Elizabeth said as she put the gem down.
