Chapter 11

(A/N:Ok i made it to the 11th chapter whoah im so excited i could skip down the side walk and kiss a stranger but that would be strange..............wouldnt it???????)

Mason's P.O.V.

"Do you smell that?"i asked Arron as we sat in the office.

"yea it smells like"he sniffed the air"vampires"we looked at each other in alarm.

We hurried out the office"Troy we have vampires in the territory"

He understood and took Roman and some of the others to check the terrority.

"Johanna,take the pups and hide"she moved so fast i almost didnt see her and rushed the pups up stairs.

The rest of us stood glaring at the door,everything tense and silent we where all on edge waiting for them to come back hoping that they would come back, waiting to defend ourselfs if they were stupid enough to attack us on sight.

They burst through the door first it was troy then it was cole then it was xander and alex."Wait wheres Roman?"i asked and not a second later he burst through the door carring a little girl.

"its honey"he said.

I froze everything was surreal i'd just seen her earlier and she wwas alive and well.i didnt even know i was yelling or what i was yelling and i dont think Arron was in better shape.She cant be dead she isnt dead shes strong i know it.

I think i told him to carry her to the pack doctor well more like barked it,Arron and i followed hoping that she would make it through it and if she does shes never leaving our side i refuse to go any longer with out being able to see and know where she is at all times.

Roman sat her on the table infront of the packs doctor.he was covered in her blood"shes not dead she just passed out".he explained as the pack doctor did his magic.

"Ok i need everyone out"he shooed us out.

"We'er not leaving"Arron and i growled out.

"you have to leave,i need to do my work in private"

We were about to argue further but johanna grabbed our hands and dragged us out the door"Shes stronge shes going to make it its going to be alright"she cooed as we sat down.

I dont know how long we were sitting down but when we looked the pack doctor was coming out, i qickley stood up"How is she?"we asked.

"Shes going to make it"We made a move to go and see her"but she should have died"we froze in a place"what do you mean she should have died?'Arron asked.

He ran his hands through his hair before sighing"well she has 3 broke ribs a broken arm and leg plus a few minor burises but one of her ribs should have perieced her heart and instantly killed her"he explained.

We growled in responce

"Well why didnt it?"johanna asked.

"Her heart is on the other side, i've never seen anything like it"he sighed"im running a few test on her blood and hopefully we should know exactly what see is in about two days.

I nodded and walked into see her laying down tubes were sticking out of her,her hair was matted in blood,she looked pale even against the white sheets.

I slowely stepped towards her bed and took one of her little hands in mine while Arron took the other one.

"We'er never leaving her side"Arron whispered. i nodded in agreement"yea but why would vampires come after her?"i mummbled.

"I dont know but im going to find out"Arron said softly gazing down at our mate.
