Adebiyi sat in the Heathrow International Airport looking at the departure board and wondering if he made the right decision. But it was too late to turn back now as he was half way there. This would be his second flight in three hours and he would be in Washington Dc in little under nine hours.

"Why am I uprooting my life to go and work in another country? " He thought

He certainly didn't need the money. He's from one of the wealthiest families in Morocco. The Lamrani name carried great power. His grandfather had been prime minister for several years and he was suppose to follow the family tradition and become the 17th president of government. He was groomed from a young age to become the ruler of Morocco;  studying at the finest universities in the world, obtaining three Bachelors, two masters degrees in International relations, and economics respectively, a PhD in the latter and had attained the title of professor by thirty-two. He was more than qualified for the position, but he decided he wanted to create his own destiny and create his own legacy instead of latching on to the one created by his family.

He heard from a former colleague that the Elliot School of International Affairs at the George Washington University needed a professor for their Law of the Sea discipline and without second thought he jumped at the opportunity. He applied using his mother's maiden name Sobitan, to protect his identity. Within two weeks he was informed he had gotten the position. A week later he got in touch with a realtor an bought a house in Great Falls Dc.

He had indeed made a lot of spur of the moment decisions and his parents certainly did not approve. To appease his parents Adebiyi decided if he had not found his footing after one year he would return home and do as his family desired. Hence the decision was made that his parents would visit him in a year and if they did not approve he would stop chasing "day dreams" and do what was required of him.

"Flight 6211 to Washington Dc will be boarding in five minutes. Flight 6211 to Washington Dc will be boarding in five minutes" the P.A says over the microphone repeatedly.

Adebiyi took up his bag, got out his boarding pass, and went to join the boarding line.

"This is it, no turning back" He thought to himself.

Ten Months Later

It was the last day of class and Victoria couldn't be happier. She was so over professor Sobitan lectures. The only reason she even decided to attend final lecturers was that he had told the class he was going to give exam tips on the final day.

But to be honest she was more interested in getting home and opening that bottle of wine her boyfriend Omari had gotten her. Running a hot bath with that strawberry....

"Isn't he a sight for sore eyes?" Victoria's friend Nikki interrupted her thoughts by asking.

"He's your kind of tea, not mine" she responded.

Another reason she hated this course. She couldn't stand the way the girls (and some of the guys) drooled over this man. He was also quite aware of it and would wear tight pants and half open shirts to class, as if he was putting on a show. She had heard rumors of him hooking up with his students and even some of the female lecturers.

However, despite his flirtatious behaviour he was great at his job and he had a high passing rate for his courses. She respected him as an academia and to be honest she never cared too much for his personal life.

"Oh, the things I would let him do to me" Nikki continued "oh, the man is a Greek God!"

Victoria, though annoyed by her friend's behaviour couldn't deny that Professor Sobitan was a handsome man. 6ft 4" statute, his chiseled face that look soft to the touch, full red lips, his Carmel skin, broad shoulders, and his wool like hair, this man looked like a Greek God indeed.

"Miss Castle, I hope you're discussing exam preparations with Miss Richards"  Professor Sobitan said turning to Nikki. He could hear her mumblings to Victoria as the rest of the class was quiet and attentive. "As that would be the only exception for you disrupting my class"

"Yes Professor" Nikki said giggling like a school girl. A behaviour not befitting a university student.

For the remainder of the lecture Victoria tried to give Professor Sobitan her full attention and paid little attention to her friend's fantasies. As promised Professor Sobitan had given exam tips and told his students the areas to focus on. This was greatly appreciated as Law of the Sea is a broad topic and difficult to study.

Class ended and Victoria began to pack up her bag. She was eager to get home and celebrate the ending of the semester before she had to start studying for exams.
The wine that Omari had given her was calling her name. They have been in a long distance relationship for the past two years and though there has never truly been a physical relationship they were very much in love. He would send her gifts such as wine, chocolate, roses, bath and body products to let her know he was thinking about her. His latest  gift was a bottle of Ménage a Trios and strawberry bath oils.

She decided she would stop and get some food on the way home and have a romantic dinner with Omari. Over Skype of course. But her plans would be placed on hold as professor Sobitan asked her to stay back.

"Miss Richards what are your plans for the summer?"

'Is this man asking me out?' She thought.  "I was planning on getting a job for the Summer professor" Victoria responded

"Great!" Sobitan eyes lit up "I have the perfect job for you Victoria"

Did he just call her by her first name? And why was he so enthusiastic over a Summer job?
