Prologue

The cold wind slithered around her figure, especially her face as she and Taehyung sat on the unused grandstand, peering out into the messy but beautiful rundown fields. As soon as the wind had slithered around her, her uncovered skin was no longer warm but covered in a sheet of cold. Taking notice of her sudden change in behaviour, Taehyung threw his bag over his shoulder as he began thoroughly looking around. He pulled out a yellow, fluffy blanket along with earphones and treats. He sent her a small smile, revealing his fuzzy, bubbly personality before wrapping her up in the blanket, making sure she was comfortable. Gently, he placed the earphone into her ears as the music began strumming into their ears. "Don't you feel connected, at ease?" Taehyung mumbled in a soft tone, making her forget all about the deepness of which his voice achieves.

Naeun turned to Taehyung, smiling at how lost in love he was for the song. His eyes softened and his lips curved upwards. Every now and then, he'd close his eyes and let the song absorb into him, quietly singing along.

"I could play this song on repeat every day for the rest of my life and I'd still feel the way I do now. The way it soothes me, it will never fade. The amount of love I have for it, will never decease." Taehyung looked over the to the girl whom stared in admiration for the boy, captivated by his gentle actions. Her eyes glistened in approbation her lips slowly forming into a curve as she too began showing appreciation for the song.

"I thought I'd never find anything as beautiful as this song," he chuckled at himself, fully aware of how cheesy he was about to sound. As he looked back up at Naeun and no longer at the fields, their eyes aligned. A sincere smile formed on his lips as he stared at the smaller human, her smile making his heart flutter in happiness. "But here you are, proving me wrong."
