Clemont's POV
After getting off the plane Bonnie raced off the stairs with everyone else towards Pro. Sycamore's lab. "Bonnie, everyone, wait up!" I exclaim as I run. "Hurry up Clemont your so slow." Bonnie yells back.
"Bonnie you know I can't run that fast, don't be so mean." I scold her as everyone waits for me to catch up. "Thanks for waiting." I thank as we start walking a normal pace. "Were guys going to go see your dad later?" Y/n asked.
Bonnie and I look at each other in surprise. "I hadn't thought about visiting dad." Bonnie said "I hadn't either but we should say since we're here, we can go later." I say Bonnie nods.
"We're here!" Ash's exclaims as we reach the gates of the lab. "We're gonna catch up with you guys later we going to go see dad." Bonnie said as we leave everyone else at the gates as we wave goodbye.
Y/n's POV
Clemont and Bonnie left to go see their dad while Serena, Ash, and I walked through the gates towards the lab. Inside you can hear inaudible conversations but just bits and pieces. "They're going to be here any minute I'm sure of it." What sounded like Pro. Sycamore said.
I open the door to let the three of us in as all the conversations stop. Everyone's head turns towards us, I see five people that I don't know and Pro. Sycamore. "Hey everyone!" Ash shouts as they all turn to greet him and Serena.
"Hey guys this is the surprise I was talking about, everyone meet Y/n my sister!" He shouts which echoes through the whole lab. I give a small smile and wave until some guy in green hair introduces himself first "Hi my name's Sawyer." "Hi, I'm Shauna." "The names Tierno." I'm Trevor." "Nice to meet you I'm Alain." They all greet me and then go back to talking with Ash.
"Hey Y/n can I battle you? I would like to see the way you battle for future experiences." Sawyer asks "Sure I don't mind." Ash then comes up "He has my skills so you better watch out." Ash warns me as I nod.
We go outside, as he says "It's a one-no-one battle." Sawyer explains as he pulls out a pokeball "I will serve as ref, when one sides pokemon are unable to battle the opposing side wins." Alain explains. "I'm counting on you, Sceptile let's go!" Sawyer exclaims throughout the grass type out. I still have my Kalos so I will use my strongest one "Meowstic your up." I say letting the cat out of its enclosed ball.

I had won. Just by a landslide. This kid battles almost like Ash. I'm sure he does, Ash explained that he looked up to him and wanted to battle like him. He always kept writing notes, and wanted to always watch and get experience to battle good.
Ash had only lost to him once, which was a surprise. He's never really lost after he had most of his evolve. "That was a great battle Y/n, thanks for that." Sawyer says "No problem." I reply with a smile.
I then realize I haven't called home yet. "Oh, professor could I use your phone for a moment?" I ask. "Sure you can." He says as he leads me to the phone. I dial aunt Delia's number, it rung twice before my mom answered. I guess she was there.
Sawyer's POV
After the battle with Y/n she had asked the professor something as he led her inside. "Hey Ash she was the surprise you were talking about right?" I ask "She sure was, did having a sister surprise you?" He asks enthusiastically "It did. I never knew you had a sister." I say pondering to see if he had told me.
"Well she's my cousin but we have a family bond like the way me and Greninja so we're like brother and sister." He explains "I see." Then Tierno comes up. "Ash your sister is really pretty, just like Serena." (I know a little ooc) Both Ash and Serena sweat drop.
"You know what if we have a party for your return and a greeting for Y/n, since we all had just met her." I suggest. "That sounds like a great idea I will go get Bonnie and Clemont." Serena says running off. "Where should we have it?" Trevor asks "What about the pokemon center, they have a back room big enough. Bring her by 4:00" Shauna says.
Ash explains what we should bring or make as decorations. Shauna was in charge of explaining to Serena, Bonnie, and Clemont then to get the material, Ash and I were going to clear everything out, Trevor and Tierno were going to inform nurse Joy about it, and Alain was to distract Y/n.
Ash, Tierno, Trevor, and I got to the pokemon center. Ash and I made our way to the back to clear out some dust or old boxes while Trevor and Tierno explained it to nurse Joy.
Serena's POV
I headed to the gym to go and see Clemont and Bonnie when Shauna came behind me yelling my name. "Serena, Serena!" She was yelling "Hey Shauna what's up?" She stands there catching her breath. "I came to tell you that we're getting material to make the decorations Clemont, Bonnie, you, and I." She finishes saying. Guess we're going shopping.
"Alright we need to get Clemont and Bonnie then we can go." I say as she nods and we start walking. As we get to the gym we walk in to see a boy challenging Clemont. It seemed that so far Clemont was beating the pokemon he had. Something about him seemed so familiar. I just couldn't put my finger on it.
'Hazel eyes, some freckles, blonde hair....no..i-it couldn't be' I think as Shauna shakes me back to reality. "Serena you ok? You seemed abit out if it." She says. "Yeah I'm fine. Let's just wait till the battle it over and then get Bonnie and Clemont to come with us." I say as she nods.
I watch the battle intently only one though on my mind 'Could it really be him?' I think as Bonnie's voice rings through the gym "Monferno is unable to battle so the battle goes to the gym leader Clemont!" She exclaims announcing the boy had lost.
He started grumbling things about losing to a weak gym and how Clemont won with luck. "Clemont was that-?" He cut me off "Yes, it was." He said trailing off. "Anyway we have to go get material for decorations for the party we are going to hold for Y/n." I say as Bonnie starts cheering for the party.
We take our leave and head to buy the things we need for the party. He was still on my mind, what was he still doing here? And why did he say? What were his intentions of coming anyway? I kept repeating those questions in my mind as we get our things and leave to decorate the pokemon center.
