3rd POV
Kaden had asked Y/n out on several dates always finding a way to make it special. He had always loved her and trusted her making it to where he finally asked her be his girlfriend. They had been together for a year but something......changed, in him. The two began to grow distant and all their walks were always quiet. Y/n didn't understand why, he didn't really talk and he was always out.
They had never spent anytime together and had a lot of fights where things were thrown. Eevee and Chimchar had decided to hide in the bathroom during all your fighting. Kaden wasn't the one throwing things. Y/n was. He had tried to hit her a couple times so she threw anything nearby at him. But one day, he pushed her buttons why to far.
Y/n POV
"Ok well cya later Gary." I said my goodbyes and he said his. Gary was like my best guy friend him, Ash, and I were pretty close as kids but Ash and him had to leave but they always called which I was happy about.
"Who's Gary?" Kaden asks as we walk out "He's just a friend." I say "That's what they all say now who is Gary?" he asks again with more anger in his voice "It's none of your business ok he's just a friend nothing more and don't think I'm cheating on you." I tell him.
"I think you are the way you always act. When your always talking to guys. Like Gary or Ash." He said, that was it, that was the last straw.
"You know what Kaden? I'm tired of this your always asking I already told you Ash is my brother and Gary is just a friend." I say angry at him. "Well why be together when we're always fighting?" He asks "I was just thinking the same thing." I say as I start walking towards an airport.
"Fine I didn't even like you anyway." He yells "Then why date me if your just going to complain?" I yell at him. He just turns around and starts walking the other way.
Eevee then comes out. She tries to comfort me but I don't need it. I don't need pity if he loved me he would've said so. He doesn't need me so "Let's just finish up this year with catching some more pokemon alright eevee." I talk to the small pokemon.
I already caught a Fenniken so now time to go adventuring. I walk into a forest and start my search there. "Look eevee it's an Espurr." You say quietly not trying to make any noise. "Eevee use swift." I say as eevee shoots stars at the small creature. I take the pokemon by surprise.
Espurr had its back turned so eevee got a clear shot. Espurr fell forward it got back up but almost fell backwards "Eevee quick attack." I yell as Eevee starts running really quick. Espurr then uses psychic and threw eevee into a tree. But Espurr seemed a little more hurt from the swift. So throw a pokeball and it starts shaking almost like if it's going to pop out. "Eevee get ready use swift." I say as eevee picks her tail up ready to use a move.
The pokeball stops shaking and then I wait for a few seconds and then the ball clicks. "Yay Eevee I caught Espurr I say as I hug Eevee and grab the ball and start looking again.
(Time skip cuz I can)
After a while I found a clearing with tons of pokemon and a lot of them looked really strong as well. Within the clearing there were Skiddo and some Gogoat. Along with Frogadier and Braixen. I left the pokemon be and went deeper into the forest it had a really creepy feeling to it like something was watching me.
I shrugged it off as I carried Eevee. Then they came back. They shot a net at me but I have quick reflexes so I was able to barely dodge it. "Team Rocket." I say with an irritated look on my face "Oh so you remember us?" Asks the cat "No I didn't." I say in a sarcastic tone "Then how do you know us if you don't remember us?" The cat asks again the two older ones and myself face palm "Is he always like that?" I ask myself.
I then just turn around and start walking while there saying their verses. "Jess- HEY! Where are you going?" The pink haired woman asks "Looking for pokemon." I say in a duh tone. "Hmm how about we use this!" James exclaims throwing a cube with glowing features at Eevee. She jumps out of my arms as the cube opens up as a glowing ring and almost hits Eevee. But before it could I put my hand up to catch it before it hit her.
But instead it latches onto my wrist and starts electrocuting my wrist "Eevee!" My pokemon cried out to me. "I'll....be...fine" I say in between pants. I try and restrain from screaming in pain. "Eevee use swift on this thing!" I yell. She uses the move but it barely cracks "try tail whip." I say as it breaks more "Its not breaking let-." I was cut off.
"Throw it!" Jessie yells as a net heads towards Eevee. I grab Eevee and turn my back against the net but I didn't feel anything. As I turn around I see a Trevenant and it had slashed at the net with what seemed like shadow claw.
He looked back at me and I nodded signaling that I was ok. He then proceeded to beat Team Rocket and throw them who knows where. He then picked me up and carried me somewhere in the forest. He then set my down somewhere and left, he came back with a few pecha berries and a backpack. I guess I dropped my bag when I was trying to protect Eevee. At least she's ok, I then proceed to look through my bad for some medicine and bandages.
I find what I'm looking for and apply the liquid medicine on my wrist. I untie the bandages and start wrapping it around my wrist. It burned a little but I know it's working. It stung to touch my wrist but it will heal soon.
Ash's POV
I was in the forest walking around with Cilan and Iris when my stomach growled "I guess I'm hungry." I said holding my stomach "Alright here seems like a good place to stop for lunch." Cilan says as he pulls out a tractable table and some cooking stuff. "Hey Ash you never really talk about your sister that much." Iris said taking a bite of an apple from a nearby tree. "Yes Ash I would like to hear about your sister." Cilan said agreeing "Ok." I said giving in.
"Well she isn't my sister we're cousins but we have this really close bond almost like me and my pokemon so we're like brother and sister. Her mom had to go on a trip so she stayed with my and my mom for a about 3 or 4 years. It was always us and one other in the group his name is Gary. Him and Y/n got along pretty well where he and I always fought but Y/n broke the fights up. As me and Gary started our journeys she had stayed behind since she's younger and couldn't get a pokemon yet. But we always called. She started traveling about 4 years ago going into 5. She seemed so excited about it and she was traveling with some friends so she wasn't alone. When we were gone she started taking guitar lessons and she got really good. She even showed me a couple songs with her guitar. But she has a really bad temper so when she's mad you don't wanna be around." I say explaining everything pretty much.
"Hm." Cilan hummed "What is it Cilan?" I ask "Well your cousin seems like my brother Chili he has a bad temper but always seems excited." He said and I blinked in realization "Yeah I guess they do." I said. We ate lunch and had stopped at a pokemon center in a town. I had called professor Oak to learn Y/n had just called him and was still in Kalos. I asked if she was at a pokemon center. He said yes and gave me the number it rang and rang until someone picked it up.
"Hey Y/n!" I said excited "Hey Ash." She said back but kind of in a sad tone "What's wrong? Where's Kaden?" I ask "Oh it's just Kaden and I had a fight a few weeks ago. We were dating but then something changed in him and he always kept leaving and we just broke it up and I left." She said. I felt mad he made her cry and he broke her heart. "Well Ash I have to go nurse Joy brought my pokemon and so I have to leave, bye." She said "Bye." I said hanging up. When I see Kaden I'm going to punch his lights out for hurting Y/n. Just wait and see Kaden, just wait and see.
