Mary slowly eased her gaze at the low voice, she shivered as the goosebumps raised in her arms. Mary turned and noticed a pair of beautify cold eyes looking at her. "Hello?"

Joker thought to himself, "So helpless, so sweet, so stunning." He grinned his silver grin, "All mine." He controlled his excitment, "Step closer. I'm not gonna hurtcha." Mary bit her bottom lip as she took two steps closer to him. His fingers twitched as he smelled her  warm vanilla hair. "Fucking warm vanilla." He rolled his head to maintain his composure.

Mary tried not to show any fear, but studdered as she spoke, "I..I.. Was told you could help me?" No answer, "Please.. I.." As soon as she muttered please,  Joker quickly eased from his seat and walked and stood in front of her. Mary could see the handsome figure clearly. She studied his tattoos and there was another flash of pain in her mind. She looked down as she held her temple and tried to focus. Her chest heaved as she looked back up to his face, "Who are you?" Joker smiled as he placed his hand gently on her cheek. Mary close her eyes as a tear eased down her face. "I know you, but.." Mary looked down at the desk and saw Graces ultrasound picture. There was a bigger and more painful flash in her mind. Mary screamed out as she dropped the picture and held both sides of her head. There was a ringing in her ears as she had a flash back. She was in labor, all alone. The babies heart rate was dropping and no one was explaining anything. They pushed her into an operating room. As they injected her IV with a sedative she fought to stay awake, but couldn't. Mary eased her hands down away from her head as she heaved.

Joker took a step close to her, but Mary held her hand up. "Wait.. Just for a moment." Joker stood anxiously. Mary's eyes eased up to his, "I have a daughter?" He smiled and nodded. "Grace?"

"Very good Mary. That's right, Grace. She's down stairs waiting to see you." Joker noticed Mary's hands move to her lower abdomen. "What is it?"

Mary bit her lip as she looked away, "Nothing."

Joker took a step closer and tipped her chin to look at him, "Mary, I'm your husband, and the father of your child."

Mary's lip quivered as she took his hand and placed it over her lower stomach, "Are.. Are.. You..?" Jokers eyes turned wide as she tried to ask her delicate question.  She turned away as she sobbed.

Joker spun her back around to face him, his chest heaved, "Are you?" Mary sobbed as she nodded. Joker slowly pulled her to his chest and closed his eyes as he rocked her back and forth. Mary still couldn't fully remember, but it felt like home.

Mary felt exhausted, but she tilted her head up to his face, "I want to see her. I want to see my daughter. Please.."

Joker smiled, "Of course." He lightly took her hand and lead her down stairs to the French doors.  He silently stood and studied her expressions as she watched Grace play. "Are you ready?" She stopped his hand from opening the door.

"What if. What if she doesn't reconize me?" Mary turned to him with a worried look.

He smiled and kissed her hand, "She misses you. Besides, no one can forget you." Mary hung her head as he opened the door. Mary slowly released it as she approached Gace as she spun around. Grace noticed a pair of feet that stopped in front of her. She popped her head up and squealed when she saw her mothers face and reached for her. Mary fell to her knees and scooped her up and squeezed her. "Hi moma!"

Mary squeezed her eyes closed, "Hi baby. I was looking so hard for you, and now here you are." Mary turned and kissed her daughter repeatedly as she cried; she stood to her feet as she carried her lost treasure. She sat on the swing with Grace in her lap as Grace smiled as she played with her mothers hair. Mary examined the child as she smiled; Joker stood leaning against the patio wall as he watched from a distance. After a while, Grace had fallen aleep in Mary's arms, Joker eased her out of Mary's grasp and nodded for Mary to follow him. She gladly followed as she watched him cradle the small child as he climbed the stairs to her room. Mary gasped at the sight of Graces room. The two parents tucked their child in and quietly closed the door.
