Such a Sad Love

Michael and Rebecca followed me around the bush to see goblins torturing a creature, all three of us threw rocks at the goblins helmets causing them to bump into each other. Once they all ran off we walked over to the roaring beast, I ended up calming it down as both Michael and I untied it, the beast stood up and we all three backed up looking up at it.

Beast:"Ludo.."
Me:"Ludo? Is that your name? I'm Sarah."
Ludo:"Sarah? Ludo and Sarah friends."
Me:"That's right, do you know the way to the center of the Labyrinth to the castle?"
Ludo:"No.."
Rebecca:"Well we better start walking to find the way. How much time do we have?"
Me:"Probably not a lot of time left."
Michael:"Well come on, come with us Ludo."
Me:"Ludo, this is Michael and Rebecca."
Ludo:"Friends."

I smiled and led the way as they followed closely behind me. I hope he isn't near, I thought to myself. A small sigh came from me as I slid my hands in my pants pockets as we continued to walk, I stopped suddenly causing someone to bump into me.

Rebecca:"Sarah, the hell? Why did you stop?"
Me:"Because, these doors just appeared.."

She walked around me staring at the doors in confusion, I heard a careless chuckle and looked to my right seeing the king,

Jareth:"Having fun?"
Me:"No. Things keep changing."
Jareth:"What's the matter? I thought it was a piece of cake, Sarah."

I rolled my eyes and looked down then looked back up to see him standing in front of me,

Jareth:"Not so lonely since your friends are here."
Me:"Why did you bring them in this mess?"
Jareth:"They didn't believe you, right? Now they do. I'm real, how are you enjoying my Labyrinth Michael and Rebecca?"
Rebecca:"Is that a rhetorical question your "highness".?
Me:"Rebecca!"
Rebecca:"Yea sorry."
Jareth:"I can send you and Michael back home to leave Sarah alone."
Michael:"No! Bec hush, we got this right Sarah?"
Me:"Yea. So you can go back to your castle."

He kept staring at me, it's like his eyes were burning through my soul. Hopefully he doesn't stop looking at me, I thought. I watched a grin form on his face as he crossed his arms, oh god please tell me he can't read my mind! His eyebrow rose and he leaned back against the door.

Jareth:"That's my specialty."
Me:"Oh fuck me... that really isn't fair."
Jareth:"Only a few hours left. Better start figuring things out more quickly."

He snapped his fingers and vanished. Fuck! He can read minds, now I can't think to myself. I groaned as both Michael and Rebecca argued about which door to go through, I shrugged and picked the right door which lead into a foggy woods. We all started down the trail, I didn't hear them behind me. I looked back to see that Michael, Rebecca and Ludo were gone, what the hell! Thanks guys... I kept walking but soon heard movement and these funny fuzzy goblins appeared. They were singing as they surrounded me, I stood there looking at each of them, one of them tried to take my head off,

Goblin:"Hey! Her head don't come off!"
Me:"Of course it doesn't!!"

I shoved it off me darting away from them but they followed me, I ran into a dead end. I glanced around but saw a rope drop from in front of me, I looked up seeing Hoggle,

Hoggle:"Climb up!"

I grabbed the rope pulling myself up and over the side of the wall, I smiled and hugged Hoggle then kissed his cheek. We fell down a tunnel in the ground and almost went over the ledge when I grabbed the metal hook grabbing Hoggles hand before he fell. I pulled us up and we slowly walked along the small edge, I listened to Hoggle complain til he slipped and I went to catch him but we both fell and landed on Ludo, I rolled off him and stood up,
