I breathe in the cold crisp air. I've been here before. Seen this before. Done this before. I feel the slight sensation that something may be watching me. I kick around some snow, that soon turns to slush. New snow starts to fall and I decide to take cover. Seeing a cave, I run towards it. It seems to be getting farther and farther as if I'm in a never-ending run. Hearing a branch break, everything comes to a hault. All I see are two cold red eyes staring at me.

I wake up with a jolt. I have been having the same recurring dream for a week now. Hopefully it will be gone by my birthday! With my dad always "working", and my mom dead, I have no one to talk to about my dream. Yawning, I get on my hoodie and head downstairs. 11 a.m. and dads still not home? That's weird.

I open the pantry door and get the box of Honey Bunches Of Oats. While getting my cereal ready, I hear the front door open.

"Dad!" I shout.

Giving him a hug, I realize there's a scratch on his forehead.

"Dad, you're bleeding!" I say.

"It's just a little scratch." He confesses.

"Yeah, a little scratch that could get infected!" I tell him. "Now stay here while I go get stuff to clean it!" He rolls his eyes and sits in his chair. I grab the Hydrgen Poroxide, and dab it on a cotten ball. Ever since my mom died, I have been very over protective of my dad. I watch him lay in his chair peacefully, and dab his scratch gently with the cotton ball.
