Luke's POV
"Okay, explain that again!"
Dan says.
"Yeah one more time" Ethan adds
We're at joeys house, after what happened at school today.
The girls had just disappeared, and Joey had freaked out, calling us back to his house.
He then told us something that would change things.
"Okay. One more time" Joey sighs.
"I was 11 and had just started high school. I was a huge loner, I didn't have any friends. I got bullied every day, so I started hiding in this closet, but one day when I went in, a girl was already there. She was really pretty. I knew that even though I was young. She was being bullied too, and we talked.
From that day on we did everything together. We were best friends. But the thing was, she told me a lot, and so did I. We had a lot riding on that friendship.
So 3 years ago, when I told her I was leaving she got this weird look on her face. Like she was breaking. She shut me out. I never even got to say goodbye."
"Yeah, but what has this got to with anything?!" Ethan says, getting annoyed.
God, Ethan's getting on my neves.
"The girl, you know, my EX BEST-FRIEND?"
"Yeah?"
"Her name's MELODY SIMMONS"
Three words.
Oh. My. God.
