Prinxiety: Once in a lifetime

Chapter 2:

Andrew POV:

"Who is this?" I pick up. My phone was ringing loudly and I didn't want to draw attention to myself. I wiped away a tear as I curl my legs close to my chest. I'm sitting on a ledge. Something not usually sat on, I know, but I don't have time to worry about what is or isn't a chair at this point.

"My love, don't you recognize my voice?" The pompous dolt flirted on the line. I assumed it was the Princy guy I bumped into earlier .

"What do you want...why did you call me." I said holding back a sob. I am shaking, it's cold out. No one is outside, no one cares. I'm alone, except for this...guy.

"Because I wanted to talk to you." I am baffled, someone wants to talk to me.

"Why would you care about me, I told you to not to...I'm worthless." I hugged myself and tears flowed freely.

"No you're not worthless, hay, come now, what's wrong?" He asked me, he sounded-- concerned?

"No one cares, just move on with your life, don't call me." I sniff and hang up. My eyes sting with tears as I stand and walk closer to the edge. I'm on my apartment complex, top floor, I usually come here when I feel terrible, which is most of the time. But today is especially worse, and I don't want to continue. My phone rings again and I drop it off the edge of the building. No need for it now. I close my eyes and sigh. I feel more peaceful than I've ever felt. I don't know how long I stand there, but eventually my feet move. I find myself at the very edge. One last step.

"WAIT!"
