I woke up to light streaming on my face. I was a little warm, which was odd. Usually I keep my house a few degrees below comfortable so I have a good reason to cocoon myself in blankets. It didn't work, I wouldn't sleep anyways. I looked around and felt someone groan behind me. I turn around and see Princy. Am...am I the little spoon, you've got to be kidding me. I push him off me and stand, and stretch yawning.
He groans and turns toward the back of the couch. I roll my eyes and go to the bathroom. I check my eyes. The liner was smeared away to show deep dark sleepless eyes. I scowl and continue through my morning. I discover where the coffee is and make some while I hear Princy get up.
To be honest I feel like the literal embodiment of anxiety. Princy could just wake up and tell me to leave. What's stopping him? This seems to be going rather fast, and I have a lot of attachment issues. What if he doesn't want me? I sip my coffee from a shaky cup. When did I start trembling?
When he walks into the kitchen the first thing he does is grab a cup of coffee and proceed to dump a whole container of cream into it. "Morning..." he sounds groggy. He takes a sip of his cream with coffee and instantly perks up. "How is my beautiful little sinnomin roll?"
"You're what?" I said looking at his stupidly adorable smiling face.
"Come on...don't you like pet names? Say something nice back." He asked giving me a wink.
I signed and looked at him. "Princy you honestly impress me... at being a clueless moron, all of the time."
"Well that wasn't remotely nice..."
I shrug and smile. He takes out his phone, "What are you doing?"
"Updating my status in my social pages and posting your face everywhere." He said grandly.
"What No!" I said trying to grab his phone. He laughs and dodges me. Soon it turns into a little fight and sugar is in someone's hair and coffee everywhere.
