Nikki's POV
My phone starts ringing.
I pick my head up from Brandon's shoulder and answer the call, it's my mom.
"Hi mom"
"Hi honey, can you come home in fifteen minutes because your father and I want to go somewhere to spend some time together and we need someone to mind Brianna?"
"Sure mom I'll be there "
" That's good. Bye Nikki"
"Bye Mom"
I turn to Brandon.
"I have to go, sorry"
"It's ok I'll see you tomorrow at school then"
Before I can say anything else he kisses me.
At first I'm surprised but then I just close my eyes and let it happen.
It feels like we are in a movie,
you know at a beach, at sunset, just kissing.
But then I remember that we are in an animal shelter, but it feels just as nice as if we were at the beach, at sunset.
Brandon finally lets go and we stare into each others eyes and do the blushing thing again (where we both blush and look away and then look at each other again and blush again and keep on doing that for at least 5 minutes).
"Bye Brandon", I say.
"Bye Nikki", he replies.
Then we turn around and see Brandon's Grandma filming us.
"Grandma is watching", she chuckles in a very creepy way...
