The End

Years have come and gone, Jenna and Val experienced many great years of marriage. Sophia and Brent grew up and found amazing lives for themselves. Sophia becoming a dancer like her parents, even competing internationally like they did once. Now their eighties, only finding love in each other and the lives they created together. Jenna sat peacefully at the kitchen table, inspecting old pictures from her first years on dancing with the stars, everything they'd been through the years had made it all worth it. "What you looking at?" Val questions, as he enters the kitchen, finding his wife looking at old scrapbooks.

"Old pictures from before Sophia was born." Jenna answers, as Val sat beside her and pulled a book over to him, seeing their first times on tour together. The secret romance that was hidden away from the cameras and the spotlight. Yet they always showed each other the undying love that has kept them together for so long. Friends and family had always seen that, it just took them a bit longer to realize. "Look at this picture of Sophie." Jenna smiles, showing Val a picture of him and Sophie from their first trip to the zoo all those years ago. "I know she still has that stuffed animal." Jenna chuckles, a smile glued to his face. "She does." Jenna agrees.

Forever is what they had, they stayed together through everything. They didn't once regret the years that they had together. And when it came time to go, Jenna followed behind Val ten days later because her heart wasn't complete without him beside her...

Note from Author: thank you for the past three amazing years of this story. I've made amazing friendships and met great people from posting this story in May of 2015. My life changed the moment I pressed publish and it still shocks me that this is one of the reasons I know the people I know. And also have I have my best friends. I love everyone who's ever read, voted or commented on this story you make it all worth it. I still want to continue to write Valenna and have two ideas because I want to continue this writing but I'm sad that 'You Were Gone' has come to an end on April 23rd, 2017 almost three years after I first started writing on here. Thank you for everything and please suggest what should I do with Valenna after this? Prompt book and a little surprise I'm writing?
