Jenna was used to to late nights with a young toddler as she climbed into the bed hoping for a bit sleep before beginning another day, she heard Sophia call. "Momma I sick!" the ten month old toddler screamed this from her crib as she began coughing. So Jenna got up from bed and walked into Sophia's room. Her young toddler is coughing and sneezing uncontrollably as Jenna lifts her into her arms. "Awe baby girl, you're not feeling good." Jenna states.
She presses her wrist to Sophia's head and the toddler is burning up. With some concern, Jenna takes her temperature and she's about 99.4 degrees. Since it wasn't a hundred yet, Jenna wasn't completely worried that it was life threatening so she got Sophia some medication along with a cup of water. "Here you go baby girl." Jenna whispers, eyeing the clock on the microwave. It's 1:23am and Sophia is showing no signs of wanting go to sleep again. "Do you wanna cuddle?" Jenna questions and Sophia nods her head against her mom's chest.
Jenna carried Sophia to her room, getting Sophia's blanket on the way. She turned Finding Nemo on for Sophia as she cuddled her toddler close to her. The medication began to take it's toll on Sophia and she was soon drifting off. Jenna planted a kiss on her forehead before turning off the movie and whispering, "You'll feel better in the morning."
Both mother and daughter fell into a deep sleep as Jenna was hoping that the medication was helping. "Momma." Sophia cries as she wakes up, still feeling sick. Jenna instantly snapped awake and pressed her wrist to Sophia's forehead, it wasn't as bad as last night. She took her temperature again and it was now only 99. Thank god it was going, Jenna thought as she let out a sigh of relief. "Come on baby girl, let's get you something to eat." Jenna states.
She held Sophia and her blanket in her arms as she carried her out to the kitchen and placed Sophia in her highchair. She got Sophia some apple juice and a few crackers, knowing that Sophia probably couldn't keep it down. Also with the small amount food, Jenna gave her some medication. It was already nine when they woke up and Jenna's phone dinged.

W: Are we still up for coffee?
J: sry can't
L: Why?
J: Sophia is sick
E: How bad? Have you taken her to the doctors? Is she ok?
J: Em, she has a temp of 99 and she's eating so that's good
B: But I want my goddaughter to be ok, I'm coming over
L: Me too, I'll be over in twenty minutes
W: Same, I'll be there soon
E: I'll see you ten
Jenna shook her head at her best friends, they just invited themselves over basically, but it was to help Sophia. "Baby girl, your aunts are coming over." Jenna whispers, brushing Sophia's hair out of her face. "Rweally?" Sophia questions and Jenna nods her head. A few smile grows on Sophia's face as they waited until the first girl arrives. Witney is first and presents Sophia with new Disney movies. "Disney always makes being sick better." Witney states.
Next was Lindsay and Emma who arrived at the same time. Lindsay brought her cooling ice pack stuffed animal that was shaped like a unicorn and Emma got her ginger ale and Sophia's favorite candy, Hershey's Kisses. Lastly was Brittany and she brought Sophia a pillow pet along with a fell better stuffed bear. The day went fairly well and Sophia enjoyed her day with her aunts, and she slowly felt better. Thanks to her Mom and her amazing four Aunts.
