Peggy's Schuyler is the princess of a kingdom located on a mountain top in quiet uptown . . . At some point in Peggy's life, her father passed away leaving her mother with three children to raise she being the youngest still had things to learn. Peggy was the only one to not be married yet ,her father set up arrangements for it — As a young woman, Peggy had learned her royal duties.. When her kingdom went bankrupt , the queen wanted Peggy to marry the rich young marquis de lafayette  to save her kingdom .she wasn't to happy, she has always wanted to marry her best friend and assistant John Laurens .she sighed as she fixed her dress and corset before walking into the room.the preparations up to par . The throne room had been successfully changed into a ballroom. Long pieces of yellow and gold clothing had been draped from place to place around the ceiling. On a typical day at the Schuyler castle the chandeliers were left unlit and full , but tonight they had all been lit and wiped down ,their glass pieces reflected the fractured light all over the room which lit up the room .music could be heard in the back . The once plain grey walls had been decorated with old tapestries that Peggy never expected to ever see again . The room had had the throne sealed off , but it was like new room had appeared. At the corner of the room there was a long table filled to the brim with good food and drink, with a few servers to assist everyone. The large doors were opened to let guests inside..after all it was a wintersball , and Peggy was appointed to meeting her soon to be husband .

On the other side of the village lived a poor woman ,Maria Reynolds, after divorcing her abusive husband, James. She found herself without anything left. She was young when she married him, it was arranged and from then on, he kept beating and mistreating her. After finally gaining the courage to leave him, she found herself with nowhere to turn, finally getting a job as a  seamstress. Down in the city of New York, it was busy which kept business going but unfortunately she had quite the reputation.

Her husband spread rumours of her being unfaithful, and sleeping around. Her flirtatious nature had people believing these lies. She sat in the dress shop, repairing a light yellow dress. It had frills at the end of each sleeve and was very beautiful with a silky texture.

Lafayette sat in the room waiting to meet Miss Peggy Schuyler. He sat thinking of a way to get out of this marriage. He escaped an arrangement back in France to Antoinette, a french woman. She was beautiful but he was not in love. So he left to the colonies to fight in the war. After doing so, only to be being wed to another woman. There was no way of getting out of this one, the Schuyler sisters were said to be beautiful and kind. But he had never heard of Peggy Schuyler until a few weeks ago.

John was nervous and slightly angry .He was to find out the man who would marry his childhood  to meet his child hood crush's arranged husband .He hoped that he'd take care and treat Peggy as if she's the only girl in the world .He was putting finishing touches on his suit when he was called by the queen  from downstairs. He quickly ran his hands over his hair, making sure there were no bumps in his ponytail before he bounded down the steps. Him and a few other savants were standing behind the queen and princess . John looked at the man who came into view with disgust .

Lafayette stood there awkwardly, he saw Peggy and smiled, she was beautiful but he could not help but notice a man with freckles burning two holes into his head with his eyes. Awkwardly smiled at him and looked away and began to finally introduce himself to the royal family.

From left to right it went as followed Angelica ,Eliza and Peggy Schuyler .The queen greeted the man with a bright smile " hello , I'd like for you to meet my daughters :Angelica Schuyler." Angelica stepped forward and curtesy." My middle daughter ,Eliza." She did the same mumbling something in between " and Peggy ,our youngest ." Peggy was to busy reading Shakespeare to notice  which earned a hard nudge to the rib by Eliza she gasped glancing up quickly .she curtesy to lafayette

Lafayette introduced himself to all four women, kissing the back of Peggy's hand making John's blood boil.
"It is nice to finally meet you all" He smiled politely, of course he didn't want to be here, but he was dealing with the Royal family so he has no choice.
"How about you and Lafayette get better aquatinted" Peggy's mother suggested.
"Sounds like a wonderful idea" Lafayette said, his accent thick but his English perfect.

Peggy barely ever paid attention to anything in house ,Peggy didn't pay much attention to him as he engaged with her sisters she was truly interested in the book she held it with one hand when he took her hand to kiss . She spoke in a soft peaceful tone " likewise..mr-I mean lafayette .." she looked down embarrassed slightly
Peggy was on her way with going along with him but Angelica held her back for a few minute which made her stand up and lift her chin slowly moving her head from side to Side ,lafayette 's  actions caused john to boil with hatred and jealousy ,he's always seen him and Peggy walking down the isle but that would never happen considering he barely had money to eat or buy new clothes .

Peggy and Lafayette walked down the quiet park engaging in small talk and a few jokes, although they got along fine, nothing clicked. Lafayette stared to think everything would be fine if he married her, of course it's not ideal, but you couldn't turn down a princess. He wasn't in it for the fame or the money. He had both those things, working closely alongside General Washington had given him the status, which is probably why he is here right now. "So" She began, "how was france?"

"It was beautiful" He responded, "there is a revolution there now. Ive heard it is getting out of hand"
"Oh" Peggy said, begging an awkward silence. They talked on the way back about things like food, and weather and small talk. It was awkward but bearable.

When their walk finally came to an end ,Peggy hurried to along side her sisters in the line they were in before ,she curtsy to lafayette out of gratitude and a farewell " I had a lovely time with you ,until next time ?" She asked with a small smile . John had gotten lafayette's coat and tossed it to him not really caring if he caught it or not .when the men had left ,John turned to Peggy ." Would you like to go to the village ?" He asked as he held up her shaw .Peggy agreed and they made their

Way to a carriage ,john assisted Peggy inside and they went to the village that wasn't much farther from the castle . When they got there they had walked around looking at the few shops that were open .Peggy stopped in her tracks as she saw a poor family closing down their shop, she felt pity and sorrow for them she knew from then on she had to do something for the people.
