Brambleclaw's P.O.V.
I was still staring at Squirrelflight when the world's crankiest cat screamed at me getting me out of my thoughts. " Brambleclaw why the heck are you in here", Mousefur growled " leave you hurt her do you honestly expect for her to come running into your paws you for Starclan's sake broke her heart and you said it you were no longer mates with her you said it yourself". " Whaa", Squirrelflight stirred " Starclan are you here for me yet"? " No" Brambleclaw meowed " your not dying I won't let you". Well that woke Squirrelflight up alright " why are you here Brambleclaw", she growled " I am an elder now i cannot have a mate now".
" Squirrelflight", I tried to reason with here " Please Squirrelflight you aren't old or sick". " Hey", Mousefur snarled " I ain't dead yet you know". " Brambleclaw look at me" Squirrelflight growled " Look at me i'm weak I can't fight my ribs show and no one in the clan likes me and why of you out of all cats come to me why just to check if I was dead". " How could you think that", I burst out " I heard from Leafpool about the kits I should have asked you your story i'm sorry please your the only one I want please". " I'll think about it but your going to have to try harder than that Mr. Deputy", Squirrelflight let out a rasping chuckle that soon turned into a heavy very heavy cough. " Brambleclaw", Mousefur screamed " go get Jayfeather now". I ran as fast as my legs could take me to the medicine cat clearing, " Jayfeather", I screamed " Help it's Squirrelflight she's coughing so much she looks like she's in pain she's in the elders den help her please". " I'll be there", Jayfeather yelled. That's when I struck back into reality as soon as I said she's in the elders den the clan broke out in whispers and staring at the elders den I have a feeling that they didn't know she was in the elders den.
