I feel like shit I left my mate without hearing her story I really fucked up. She's probably never going to forgive me for the past months i've treated her like shit ignored her and she needed me thanks to me Squirrelflight who was beautiful looked like she went through hell she was killing herself because of me she was starving herself. I walked back to camp and searched the camp. I rushed to the warriors den and she wasn't there. " She's in the elders den", Dustpelt smirked at me " always knew you would come running back to her". I rolled my eyes at Dustpelt, but Dustpelt probably knew Squirrelflight better than I right now he was her former mentor and he was one of the only ones who hadn't ignored her or been mean to her.
I walked to the elders den but I was shocked at what I saw Squirrelflight was curled up sleeping in a nest not Mousefur's or Purdy's this one was new. That''s when i realized it Squirrelflight retired to the elders den. She couldn't she was so young younger than me and even Dustpelt and we haven't retired yet. I looked at Squirrelflight she didn't have any injuries only her ribs were sticking out and her fur oh her lovely fur was matted.
