Angel pulled my hand through the streets as I kept an eye on the ground, making sure I wouldn't step on him. His grip on me loosened as we came to a stop, I finally looked up and read a sign." Potion shop." Angel announced, his voice full of worry.
We entered the dark shop and looked at the only light in the room." Hello Angel, it's nice to see you again." A woman's voice spoke, not a grandmother sweet voice, but, a cracky, grandmother voice." Hello, and, how do you know my name?" Angel waked towards the woman, she wore a black shirt with a black skirt, and knee high boots." That doesn't matter, now, what do you need?"
Angel pulls his helmet off and sets it on the counter, taking out his wallet from inside it." We need a potion maker, I can make a potion if I can get the supplies." The woman nods and looks at me as she turns around and looks through the shelf." Why is there an outsider here?" She speaks." She was in danger, and she needs something to help her illness."
She nods and continues looking, pulling out a box covered in dust, plopping it down onto the wooden counter." $12.00." She said, handing her hand out for the money. Angel digs into his pocket and pulls out the money, setting it into her hands." One dollar short Angel, can't let you leave until I get the next dollar."
Angel digs through his pocket and pulls out another dollar." Your lucky this time Angel, now scat." She hands the box to us and Angel leaves the building with me behind him." If we go to my place, we can make it. Are you ok with that Amber?" I nod and try to hide behind him as he turns around.
" Are you ok?" My hands get sweaty as I hold them to my chest, whispering to myself." It's ok, it's ok, it's ok." I keep repeating myself quickly as a flash of fire goes through my mind, making the scene of Clyde dead on the forest floor come back.
" Amber? Are you in there?" My eyes close, making my entire body give out and fall, landing in something hard." Amber?" Silence, silence is all I need, and all I've ever wanted.
