This Is Secret

Part Three

" GIVE ME INFORMATION! GET UP AND SPEAK! WHAT ARE YOU?! DEAF?!" Blood, all blood, surrounding me and on him. No help, no Kean, no Clyde, no hero in shiny armor. Just, my blood on the gravel and on his shoes and fists.

The sun had risen, and people in the village were not yet out, still sunrise, and little kids were still getting woken up for school. Parents were getting woken up by the man yelling, a few would look out their windows and go back inside, leaving me to die just because I wasn't from here. Just because I wasn't normal, and the guy killing me was normal to them? What is this kingdom?

I couldn't move, the man hurting me every second was moving me like a puppet, wherever he wants me to be, I'm there. I close my eyes and allow death to take me, end my suffering and allow me to join Clyde. But, the pain wouldn't let me die, it just, wouldn't let me leave this place.

My eyes stay closed in an attempt to show him his win." What's going on here Brian?" A new voice comes, walking on gravel and stopping near Brian's." This crook isn't from here, so I came and tried to kill her." A growl comes from one of their mouths." Brian, get to the castle, I'll deal with you later." One of them, hopefully Brian, leaves and another one picks me up, holding me as if I were a dead bride.

The person carries me through the kingdom, and sets me on a soft bed, and now, I open my eyes.

" Wh...what the..." My acting skills aren't very good, so I look up at the person who saved me. A person in iron armor, with a sword by their one side and bandages on the other." Your up? Thanks Magnolia, are you thirsty? Hungry? Anything?" I close my eyes and think." Water and berries p-please." The person nods and gets up, opening and closing a door behind them.

My eyes open and look at my body, still the same rags from before, just bloody. A soft knock on the window gets my attention. I look and see Kean, my hands quickly pull up the window shaft and he walks in." What did I tell you Amber?! I told you to run with me!" He makes me back away and fall on the bed, in fear once again." I'm sorry, the man yelling made it hard to hear and, you were going super fast so I couldn't keep up and it kept scaring me Kean!" I hug my legs to myself and cry, letting my emotions fall.

Kean jumps up and pats my back, trying to calm me down." Look, I'm sorry I made you cry, just, get better soon, ok? And, when your done here, I'll meet you in the forest behind the castle." I look up and see no Kean." Excuse me, miss? Are you ok? You were talking to yourself." The door opens and the person in armor comes in with a tray of water and berries of every type.

I nod and the person sets the try beside me on a table, while they sit in a chair in front of me." What's your name miss?" I hug my legs to my chest and hide my face." Amber." I look up at the armored person and they tilt their head." I couldn't hear you miss, please speak louder." I look at the side and speak." Amber." The person holds out a hand and I touch it.

" It's called a hand shake, and, my names Angel." His hand comes closer to mine so I finish the hand shake, looking curiously at it." Well, welcome to Magnolia, we hope you have a good time here." Angel takes off his helmet and reveals black hair, messy but cute to look at. Right after he finishes, I speak what I've been told to say.

" I'm leaving." I stand up and open the window." W-wait, Amber, that's a five story drop, you'll break your bones!" Looking down at the five story drop, I stick my feet out and allow my body to go down with it." AMBER!" Angel screams as I reach the grassy floor, landing on my feet with no bones breaking or moving. I look at the street and see a woman blowing a kiss to a man in a top hat. I look back up at Angel and do the same, making him blush red as I wave and walk into the forest, and into a place called the death forest in my mind.

Angels Point Of View:

I sprint into the stairway, moving a few maids aside as I hold a first aid pack with my helmet. Running out with the armor on me making clunky sounds as it moves faster and faster out the castle walls." OPEN THE GATE!" The gate slowly opens, not enough to catch Amber though. I run up a ladder and jump off the wall, landing in a puddle and getting my face all muddy along with my armor.

My fists clench the first aid kit and place my helmet over my head, covering my head with iron. My feet start running behind the castle to see where Amber went, and while I run, I think.

' Amber, a pretty name, but, why wouldn't her parents call her something normal like, Rose or, Bell, something that isn't a type of wood.'

I stop thinking and slow down my running into jogging, and then, walking. I hear another person walking and stop to make sure it isn't me, which, it isn't. I listen to where it's going and find it. Amber walking towards a wolf, the wolfs eyes were yellow, and it's fur was white as if it were snow." Kean, why are we behind the castle?" Amber talks to the wolf as if it were a person, confusing me a lot." It's the safest place I could show you-Stay behind me Amber."

Amber moves behind him as Kean makes a growl." I KNOW YOUR OUT THERE!" Kean's eyes turn blood red as he makes a defender pose to keep Amber safe." COME OUT!" My feet move to where he can see me." WHO ARE YOU?!" Kean's voice sounds demonic as Amber has a sweet voice." Don't hurt him Kean" " ANSWER THE QUESTION!" Amber holds herself as I walk closer to them." COME ANY CLOSER AND YOU'LL DIE!" I hold out my hand and Kean comes over to sniff it.

" I am Angel, the one who helped to heal Ambers wounds." Kean's eyes go back to yellow and show no anger." What the hell do you want?" Kean's voice is flat, and straight forward." I'm just trying to make sure Amber is ok." The wolf growls, and turns his back to me." She's fine now go away." Kean faces Amber, and she puts a hand on his head to pet him." Kean, stay here, I'm going with Angel, ok?"

Amber looks Kean in the eyes, waiting for a response." Fine, but, meet back here when your done." Amber stops petting him and walks over to me." What do you need Angel?" She looks me in the eyes for the first time and, I see something that wasn't there before." Amber, I'm getting you to a hospital." She shakes her head." I'm fine Angel, now, why did you want to come here, tell the truth." I take her soft hand and pull her out of the forest.

" Angel, I will not allow you to take me to a hospital!" I let go of her and look at her eyes, taking off my helmet so she can see me." THERES something wrong with you." Amber's face keeps frowning." Is it because I'm not from here? Is it because I don't live here? Is it because I don't look like all your girlfriends Angel?!" I stand put as she covers her mouth with her hands." I-I'm sorry Angel!" I put a hand on her cheek and smile, closing my eyes." I should have told you Amber. But, there's something with your eyes, there's cracks in them."

Amber nods and holds my hand." Can you meet me back here in a few minutes? I know what's going on with my eyes." I look at her as she lets go of my hand." It's from magic."
