Chapter 3

Ariella's POV

I enjoyed last night. I am happy I know the truth about my family.

Anyways, I am walking through the woods right now with Ashley.

She is leading the way while I admire the beauty of the forest. It feels calm and serene here.

I was enjoying my walk when I almost forgot that I need to find the place in my dreams.

"Hey Ash can I go walk around for a bit?" I ask.

"Hmmm okay just be back in a little bit, I figure this will be the spot I choose to paint." she stated.

"Alright" I say and walk straight ahead.

I have been walking for the past ten minutes and I have found nothing.

I walked for about another two minutes and saw a meadow ahead.

I increased my pace until it became a jog.

I finally reached the meadow and looked around.

It was truly beautiful. There were a few trees but mainly flowers that surrounded me.

I looked in awe.

Although I do not see a graveyard. I wanted to explore the meadow as much as I could. I walked to one of the tall oak trees and rested beside it.

I looked around, soaking up the beautiful sight before me.

Until I saw it, the graveyard. I stood and jogged over to the graveyard.

I had a bad feeling in my gut but I had to do this. I saw a man lying before a grave stone. That must be Zayn.

I stepped beside the gravestone he was resting by, being careful no to touch it. I do not want to turn into that girl, Evelyn I believe her name is.

I went to step closer but his eyes shot open and he turned into a large black wolf. This was not what I was expecting.

He stalked closer to me trying to see my face but I covered myself with a hood and hid my face.

I stumbled back into the gravestone.

Then it happened all at once. I felt myself changing. Changing into her.

I looked behind me to see the name stated on the gravestone I saw in my dreams.

I turned around to look at the wolf in front of me.

He growled as a threat.

Oh don't mess with me because I was born as a wolf. My main animal is actually a wolf but I can shift into others as I have said.

He stalked closer to me, however the change was complete. I pulled my hood off and looked at him in the eye.

He looked at me closely before changing back into a wolf. Well here it goes.

"Evelyn?"

I know this is short! Sorry! And Ariella was born as someone who could shift into a wolf. A few years after her birth she found herself shifting into other things; Animals, People. Her family (*Harry and Anne) sent her away for her to be safe. They kept a close eye on her but never talked to her until in chapter 2.. Their is much more drama to come!

"A mask is something to cover your true self. It can be a way of hiding perhaps. You can sometimes hide your true self, until one day, one moment you are tired of hiding. You take off the mask and show yourself. The real you."
