As looked at the boy run off, some man ran after him with gun. I need to call somebody to pick me up, because I'm sure as hell am not about to finish walking. Why did my car have to be in the shop?? Worst timing. Dialing my god brother Tyrone's number, standing close to the wall, staying out of site. No answer. Really Ty, dammit. I called my cousin Armoni, she would break her neck getting over here. There was no way in hell I was about to call either one of my parents, they would be here with the whole family.

"What's up cousin?" Armoni answered, she sounded like she was lit.

"Can you come pick me up? I'll explain everything,  just please hurry up." I exhaled, like I had been holding in a breath unknowingly.

I heard a car door close, "Yeah, where are you?"  "Hey baby, what's wrong?" I heard in the background and she shushed him, it was Peyton. I told her where I was, and she said she would be here in five minutes.

Seven minutes later, Peyton and Armoni pulled up. They were so cute together, Peyton got out and opened the door for me. When I got in the back seat... there the boy was. Why was he here? Fear took over me, knowing that this boy had a gun made me uneasy.

"Girl, why you walking this late at night?" Peyton questioned, putting the car in drive.

"Um, I was walking from practice. You always being nosy Peyton."

"Eliza, stop calling me Peyton."

"Opps, I meant Pedro." I said sarcastically, while smacking Moni's shoulder. As we began to drive, I feel a little less uneasy about the boy who pointed the gun at me no less than half an hour ago.

"So, what the hell happened?" Moni asked finally.

"Um, nothing major really." I replied not wanting to start nothing.

"It had to be, c'mon really, you better tell me girl."

I sighed in frustration,  I really don't want to. "Some boy was walking in front of me, and when I tried to rush pass him, he pointed a gun at me. The guy apologized or whatever and then pushed me to the side before being chased by some man." Fighting the urge to look at him was hard, but I did.

"Damn, Liza you need to get your car out the shop. Shit not safe." Peyton replied.

"I'll start picking you up from practice until you get it." Armoni informed, turning on the radio. The boy's eyes were glued on me, almost as if he was surprised, but I didn't feel the need to explain that it was him.Armoni and Peyton were singing R Kelly's new song Cookie, they so damn freaky. They were saying something about going to eat, but I really just wanted to go home and change out of my practice clothes. After a good 20 minutes we pulled up to Buffalo Wild Wings, great.

"Pedro, let me change in here? These clothes ratchet." I asked.

"Aight, we gone get a table. Kaleb, stay in here with her." Peyton said handing the keys to a boy I now know as Kaleb. Kaleb sat in the drivers seat.
