"Ahhh!"I screamed out loud. "Ally! You did it!"I heard Carly yell but I had my eyes closed. "I'm dead, aren't I?"I asked no one in particular. "This is amazing!"Carly cheered. "My death is amazing to you?!"I yelled the question. "Ally you're not dead! You're an alien!"She told me.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, NO!
I don't wanna be an alien! I thought I was human all my life!I carefully opened my eyes and only saw Carly's fence and the highway. Where's the trampoline? I then looked down and noticed I was right above it. I had my knees slightly crunched down and my arms covering myself as if to protect myself. "I'm alive!"I yelled happily.
Wait am I flying?
I looked up at Carly who was crouched down with her head looking over the roof at me. "You're floating in the air!"my bestie yelled happily. "I-I am?"I asked. "Try moving,"Carly suggested. "How?"I asked. "Try moving like your swimming,"she added. "Um okay then,"I replied hesitantly and then stretched my arms out and began to fan them as of i was in the water and surprisingly I was moving. I stopped fanning my arms and then just started moving my body around and I was flying in the air!
I flew all the way back on top of Carly's roof. "I can fly!"I cheered. "You're a Tamaranean!"Carly yelled. "How do I even know that?"I asked her. "Well you basically can do everything that other Tamaranean can do,"Carly stated. "Well you really think so?"I frowned. "Hey! What's wrong with being an alien? Or well being from a different planet, I mean,"she asked me. "Its just,"I paused to sit down on the edge of the roof.
"For most of my life, I've been human, and then today my world has just fallen apart, I don't even know where that planet I'm from is and even if I did, what's the point?"I asked her as she sat down by me. I hadn't noticed but it was getting dark and the stars were coming out.
"I'm a regular human! But you can do all this stuff! Its amazing! Being different isn't bad,"Carly told me. "Anyways I'm gonna help you, we're gonna find your home pent and we're going to get you there to meet your real parents and have the time of your life!"my friend cheered for me and I just chuckled. Carly had jumped up. "Really? You think so?"I asked as I looked up at her. "I know so!"she replied. "Anyways I know a bunch of people who are astronauts and stuff,"she added. "Really?"I asked as my eyes widened. "Actually no but! I know someone who does,"she smiled down at me.
"Who?"I asked. "Well you know um that boy that one year I had a crush on him and stuff,"she started to explain. "Uh yeah, his name was Jackson"I replied. Carly nodded and then said"Well me and him are actually friends right now, and so lets go visit him, you can just fly me up to his window and I'll explain everything to him." I got up and then said"Wouldn't he be asleep by now and anyways my aunt has probably already figured out I'm not home and she'll probably end up calling the cops of I don't come home,"I scratched the back of my neck. "Okay then, we'll talk to him tomorrow,"she replied and I nodded.
I jumped off the roof and onto the trampoline. "That looks like fun,"Carly replied and jumped off the roof an onto the trampoline. We both then jumped off the roof. "Why didn't you just fly?"Carly asked me. "Not used of it,"I replied and she nodded. "Well since tomorrow is the weekend meet me early in the morning back here,"Carly told me and I nodded. I then left and walked back to my house.
When I arrived home I decided to try flying back up to my window. "Okay I can do this,"I told myself and then took a deep breath. I jumped up to see if I could start flying like that but nothing happened. "Oh come on,"I told myself. I then jumped again and again and nothing happened. "Ugh,"I groaned. "Maybe I need like a running start or something,"I told myself.
So I ran backwards and then started running forward towards the porch. As soon as I got to the porch, I jumped up onto the little fence on the porch and the pointed my fist up since in the movies you see superheroes doing that to fly. It seemed like a pretty god idea and oddly it worked. I ended up flying all the way to the roof but almost passed my window since I was going really fast. I grabbed the edge of my window and then lifted it open. I then slipped through the bathroom window and landed right on the toilet.
I sighed in relied and said"Wow that actually worked, sweet." I then jumped off the toilet and then closed my window and walked back into my room.
I looked around. "Odd, she didn't-"I was then interrupted by aunt banging on my door. "Ally! I'm really worded about you, please come out." Has she been calling me the whole time I was gone?
I then walked over to the door and opened it. "Ally,"my aunt said and hugged me. "I'm okay,"I told her. "Then why wouldn't you answer the door earlier?"she asked me. So she was knocking before. "I was about to break your door down,"she added. "Sorry, I had my earphones in and couldn't hear anything,"I lied.
"Hey can I ask you something?"I asked my aunt. I wanted to know if she knew anything about my real parents, I wanted to know of I was from Earth or not.
"Sure sweety, what is is?"she asked me. "Do you know anything about NY birth parents?"I asked her. She was going to reply but it seemed like she was really hesitant. "Please, I wanna know who they are,"I told her with a frown. "Ally, dear, go sit on your bed, we really need to talk about that actually,"she told me and I did as she said.
Does she actually know about my parents?
