Tell me something, tell me something

'So what's your story?' he questioned

'What do you mean' I question back

'I mean who are you? Why are you here? What brought you to this point in life' swinging his arms in the air

'I am Joe. I was invited. And Life' answering with just as much enthusiasm

'There has to be more depth in who you are Joe' air quoting my name handing me a red solo cup

Choose your words 'cause there's no antidote

'Let me ask you something' pointing at the green eyed boy

'Go ahead I have nothing to hide like some people' he spoke a little Italian kind of accent but he looked away like he wasn't clearly pointing me out.

'Why the fuck do you care?' Giving back the red cup. Unknown to the alcoholic substance at the bottom of it.

'What don't trust me?' He questioned back gesturing to the plastic cup

12:09 am
Must this hurt you just before you go?

'Of course I do, you random person i just met at this fine establishment' I say sarcastically with a smile

'My name is Dominic'

'Well it is very nice to meet you Dominic' I reach out to shake his hand but instead he kisses my hand taking me by surprise

'Well aren't you sweet'

He blushes just a little and smiles. 'I don't like sweet' I say making his once big smile become a frown.

Brooklyn saw me, empty at the news

Moving from my spot leaning against the wall blocking the hallway. Finding my way through the small crowd of drunk girls and guys dancing to un-danceable music.

Into the kitchen filled with mingling, and chit chat from girls and boys trying to get a good fuck. Pushing past the couple that makes out at every party to find the fridge filled with all alcoholic beverages and for some reason cake.

So I gladly took it with a bottle of water and made my way out the door.

I searched around trying to find a place to sit and eat this cake while I wait for Zane.

12:21 am
Understand I'm talking to the walls

I don't know why I let him drag me to some strangers house. So here I was walking away from that party to Zanes jeep.

The street was quiet and faint, but it was a farley nice neighborhood. So I wouldn't have to worry about someone trying to jump me and steal my cake.

So I sat on the curb next to the jeep and the quiet street listening for something. For what? I don't know but listening helped me distract me from my thoughts of him.
