(A/n) Hello! I've been working a lot on this but I've finally finished it. I hope you're happy with it. I've had a lot of writers block but I hope you enjoy!
After Morality decided to give Roman and Anxiety a visit he gently poured some of the steaming chicken soup in a bowl, grabbed a spoon and headed towards Logan's room. He playfully knocked a fast paced rhythm on the door and asked if he could come in. A muffled 'yes' sounded from inside so Morality pushed the door open and walked in to see Logan reading in the darkness of his dull room.
"Now Logan, I brought you some chicken soup to make you feel better and you should know not to read in the dark." Morality said in his fatherly voice, wagging his finger in mock chastisement.
"Thank you for the soup, but I'm fine, really." Logan said in a raspy voice. "I'm not *cough, cough* sick."
"Well you sound pretty sick to me, kiddo."
"Ok, just a *cough* little." Logan gave in, giving his boyfriend a weak smile.
Morality carefully handed Logan the soup and began to fuss over him, tucking in his blanket, picking up tissues and taking his hot water bottle to refill it with warm water.
"I love you, Logan."
"I love you, Morality."
Morality was just about to walk out of the room when he heard Logan mumble something.
"What was that?" Morality said sweetly.
"Why do you love me?" Logan said slightly louder, a crease of confusion between his tired glassy eyes. "I feel hardly any emotion and you feel multiple at once."
Logan had questioned this from the moment they first confessed their feelings for each other. "I love you with all my heart but I can't help but wonder why you would love someone like me." Logan's eyes began to tear up, this surprised him because he had never cried before.
"Logan, why would you think that?" Morality returned to his side and took a seat on the edge of the bed, the mattress dipping slightly under his weight. "I love you because you're like that. You keep me from jumping to conclusions and overreacting and I keep you from just focusing on data and help you understand people's emotions. We're the perfect pair. I love you for you and nothing will ever change that. I could be offered the world in return for you and I would say no with zero hesitation."
Morality was hugging Logan VERY tightly now, his head nestled in the crook of his neck as his hand stroked the other man's back soothingly.
"Morality, I-I don't k-know what to say." Logan stuttered.
Logan and Morality held each other in silence, the cooling soup now forgotten, the calmness of the dark only interrupted by the occasional sniffle or cough from Logan. In this moment all that mattered was that they were holding the person they loved more than anything in their arms.
