Neville POV (How are you liking Neville and Blaise's POV so far?)-
You know the saying, wake up when the sun wakes up?
Yeah, well, that doesn't apply to demigods. Apparently, they go by the saying wake up before the sun, it'll do you well.
My thoughts? No.
And if I don't get used to this fast, I'm going to get picked on at training. You might be asking: How do you know this already? Well, dinner of course.
Ares kids are bullies. So much so I would hate to meet Ares himself (Actually thats a lie. Meeting a god would be cool, no matter how rude.).
Anyway, I woke up to shouting.
"Everybody up!" Percy projected, "No sleep for demigods!"
"Were not demigods." Draco grumbled, his face buried in a pillow.
"Your going to live like one though. Minus the terrible parents, monsters, and early death." Percy said, "Your so lucky you have no idea."
I slowly sat up, wiping the sleep from my eyes.
"Whats first on the agenda?" I asked, my morning voice clear as day.
"Thats the spirit." Percy said, "Swimming. Nice and cold to warm you up."
"That doesn't make sense." I said, stumbling to my trunk.
"I get that a lot." Percy said, sounding as if he was looking back at memories. Then he snapped out of it saying, "You two, up."
"No." They both mumbled.
"Yes." Percy said.
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Get up right now or you have to do 39 extra laps." Percy commanded.
That sure got them up. Slowly but surly.
Also, how can you sound so commanding so early?
Harry, Draco and I changed into swim trunks that were laid out on our trunks curtesy of the Camp Half Blood supply store.
How did they know our size? Maybe the Aphrodite cabin? Is that possible?
Moving on, Percy marched us up to the lake. All this in tight swim trunks in the morning breeze.
It took about 15 minutes to get there, and we passed the Dinner Pavilion on the way. (Chapter 3 has a map)
Percy looked like he was getting annoyed at how slow we were going, so I picked up my paste, despite my body telling me not to.
As I kept going my adrenaline pumped in.
Im training with children of gods.
This is a once in a life time opportunity, don't waste it.
And I sure as hell wasn't going to.
I had flip flops on (also curtesy of the Camp Half Blood Supply Store), and I got goosebumps from the cold as I trudged on. I could feel the soft sand under my shoes as we made it to the beach, and Percy led us to the edge of the water.
Before I could enjoy the dark but beautiful view, I had a sudden realization.
"We didn't being towels."
