A/N: Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. I've kinda had writers block lately and everything I write turns out not the way I wanted it too.
A look of annoyance flashed across Sherlock's face. "America! How can he be in America!" He yelled for about the seventh time.
"Sherlock. We don't know yet but we're figuring it out," John says patting Sherlock on the shoulder. They were still standing in Lestrade's office.
"But how are we going to reach America in time before Moriarty does something mad?"
The Doctor's lips formed a wicked grin. "Be right back," He said running out the building.Hermione pushed her nose up against the window to see what this mysterious man was thinking of doing.
A few minutes later, a flashing bright light emerged with a vwoorp-vwoorp sound. It was followed by a blue police box. The Doctor stuck his head out. He straightens his coat and smiles.
" Well, don't just stand there. C'mon,"
The Doctor opens the doors wide open. Sherlock and John had perplexed faces considering they were they only ones out of the group who haven't seen the TARDIS yet.
"So this is the famous TARDIS," Sherlock looked like he wasn't amused.
"It's bigger on the inside!" John said.
Harry slightly laughed. "You'll get used to it."
The Doctor slammed the door with his foot and began pushing levers and buttons making the room feel like it was moving. John grabbed hold of a nearby handle, his legs lifting up in the air as the glowing green light in the center of the room began moving. Ron glanced over at John who looked like he was about to vomit.
"Now this is the fun part." The Doctor pulled down a final lever, the room spinning. The vwoorp-vwoorp noise returned along with the glowing light. The room finally stopped spinning and John fell to the floor with his nauseous expression.
John dashed through the doors, ready to vomit on the floor of Lestrade's office only to find that they moved. They weren't in the Police Department anymore. John wasn't even sure if they were still in London, let alone Europe. Or maybe they were on a different plant? Sherlock had told him about the adventures of the Doctor and how he was the very last Timelord, traveling through all of space and time in a blue police box you see on street corners. John just thought Sherlock was going bonkers. Maybe he was right. Maybe they traveled to a new plant. Like Mars? No, it can't be Mars. There's civilians waking among him, American civilians.
The TARDIS was parked in a alley and was facing a busy road in a crowded city. All you could hear was the sound of voices echoing and cars honking.
John picked up a local newspaper that was thrown in a garage bin.
April 15, 2014, Boston MA was the heading of the now wrinkly paper.
The others finally strolled out and looking around at their surroundings.
"Welcome To Boston!" The Doctor snapped his fingers and a made a locking sound which John thought it meant that his spaceship was locked.
Sherlock ruffled his hair and flipped the cover of his coat up. "We better start searching for Moriarty. I don't want to be stuck in America for very long."
--
After several hours, they were still no closer to find Moriarty than scientists were to discovering aliens.
They decided to grab some tea at a local Café on Main Street where a waitress sat them down at a large table outside. Sherlock slouched down in his chair, still wearing his long black coat even though it was April and rather warm out. Hermione, Harry and Ron looked around at the people strolling around with their fancy technology. They looked very interested with the smart phones that everyone had now a days. And the Doctor fiddles with his thumbs. Everyone looks bored and tired from searching around the city of Boston and not have found anything.
A small vibrate causes Sherlock to pull out his phone.
"Hmm," He answers.
"Hello!" Jim Moriarty's voice escapes through the phone allowing everyone to hear.
"Is It him?" Clara asks, her eyes opening wide and she sits up straight.
Sherlock makes a gesture telling the others to be quiet.
"That friend of yours, the Doctor, that's his name right? Well it was useless of him to travel to Boston."
"What are you talking about?"
"You see. I knew you would track down my number. So I planted the number I first called you off in Boston. Where as-"
"Your not here anymore."
"Ah! I knew you would catch on. Now. Solve my next mystery Mr. Holmes. See you in Hell," Moriarty hung up the phone.
"Here's not here," Sherlock stands up and starts to ramble off down the sidewalk. The others quickly join him, leaving Hermione to place some cash on the table for the tea. Sherlock tramped into the TARDIS not even bothering to close the door behind him. The Doctor closes the door as everyone is finally inside.
"See you in hell? You sure that's what he said?" Ron ask leaning his body on the control center.
"Positive," Sherlock nods his head.
The Doctor begins press many buttons and slide levers again. "We better get out of here then."
"Not this again," John mumbles.
The TARDIS starts to travel, spinning like it did before with the strange noise and blinding white light. A few seconds later, it starts twisting out of control with the beat of a drum pounding against their ears and echoes through the walls. They land with a hard fall. The TARDIS control room looked like it was attacked by a tornado. Paper were flown around along the wiring of the machine.
Hermione swung the doors open, longing to be home, but only to find the same city they were in not to long along. They were still in America. And still in Boston.
