Kingdom Hearts: It's All In Your Head

Chapter 1: Prologue

"Ven, could you go tell Sora to get ready?" A tall, slim woman asked. Ven -or Ventus- was her son. Sora being her youngest; and Ven's brother.

Ventus was a nineteen year old pale blonde, with ocean blue eyes like his brothers. He wore baggy grey shorts, a black shirt, a black and white jacket, and tennis shoes.

Their mom's name, was Aqua, who had pale skin. She had light blue hair that stopped above her shoulders, and light blue eyes. She was wearing a dark purple tank top, dark blue shorts, a pale blue skirt, and sandals. Aqua had promised to take her family out to the beach to relax a bit tomorrow. Ventus walked back downstairs holding Sora's hand.

Sora was a small, tan child with spiky light brown hair. He had ocean blue eyes like his older brother. He wore red shorts, sandals, and a white t-shirt

"Go on, ask her." Ven smiled at his little brother, who shyly asked, "C-can we t-take our Keyblades...?" Aqua was about to tell him they couldn't, but somebody walked through the front door. "Hey dad." Ventus waved lightly at the man. "What's going on, Aqua?" Aqua stared at him, "Terra. Sora wants to know if we can all take the Keyblades your father made for us."

Terra was slightly taller than Aqua, he had spiky dark brown hair, had dark blue eyes, and was tan like Sora. He was wearing baggy brown pants, and a pale dark blue t-shirt, along with tennis shoes. Terra got a small idea for fun, and thought Sora would like the idea.

Sora blushed lightly and grinned, which made Aqua chuckle and kiss his forehead, making him laugh softly. "Hm... I don't know. It depends, can the Keyblade master here beat me in a battle?" Terra said as he got at eye level with Sora. Sora put on a serious face and ran upstairs to get his key.

Terra walked to his and Aqua's bedroom, grabbing his key, which was finely crafted, and looked like it was made of steel, and resembled the brown earth. He waited outside for Sora, who soon walked out carrying a key that was bigger than him. Sora's looked like a standard key. "I will win this! I've been working on my magic!" Sora struggled to swing the oversized key, but Terra, being a good father pretended like he was getting hit by fire magic. Terra soon pretended like his weapon got knocked out of his hand, and was wedged in the ground.

"Sora wins dad." Ven laughed, they didn't notice him watching them 'battle.' Sora cheered as Ventus walked upstairs to grab his key, and Aqua grabbing hers. Ven's key was made for speed, and was meant to be held backhand. Aqua's was skinny, and looked like crystalized water.

Aqua sighed lightly and smiled. "You spoil those two a bit much." She said softly, leaning her head on Terra's shoulder. Ventus and Sora were pretending to battle as Aqua and Terra spoke. "Well, this is their weekend. And ours..." He teased her lightly at the end, making her lightly slap his cheek and laugh, "Shut up! Not around Sora!" She laughed as he leaned over and kissed her. Next thing you hear is Sora, cheering about Ventus winning the little battle they had. Then you heard him go, "Ew! Kissing is gross!"

Ven leaned over to him, "Sora, one day you'll kiss a girl." He laughed as Sora pretended to puke. Terra laughed as he he heard that, "Ven is right. He used to say the same thing, and look where he is at now." Aqua nodded and smiled warmly, "Yep, now he is dating Xion. You've met her before Sora." Ventus blushed darkly and looked over at Aqua, "Mom, can we not talk about it, that's my buisness." Aqua laughed and rubbed Ventus on the head. "You two ready?" The two brothers nodded and got into the car, putting their keyblades in the back of the car.

Sora hummed lightly as they left the house, and we're heading to Xion's. Aqua agreed to let Ventus bring her along since it was a weekend for him to relax and have fun. She felt he should spend it with her anyways. She pulled into the driveway and had Ventus go get her.
