Ch 5; What just happened

Regina woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. When she came back and pulled back the covers to get into Emma's bed she found the blonde soaking in her sweat. Regina put her hand on Emma's head and she was burning up.

When she turned around she found Emma leaning against the cabinet eyes closed.
"Up" Regina said.
Emma lazily stood up and leaned against Regina, her head was in the crook of the brunettes neck making her breathing hitch. She shook her head before putting her hands on the hem of Emma's shirt indicating the blond to pull the tank top off. She left Emma's panties and made Emma get in the tub.

Regina stood still for a while frozen before coming back to reality. She nodded her head slowly before entering the tub facing Emma who was staring at her boobs.

Emma then went back to cooking breakfast while Regina went back to her thinking. She didn't notice Emma put the plate in front her until Emma went behind her and slid her hands across the brunette's waist. This took Regina out of her trance.
"Penny for your thoughts?" Emma said giving small kisses Regina's neck.
"Huh" Regina hummed.
"What you thinking about?" Emma asked.
"Robin..." Regina started Emma frowned.
"What about her?" Emma asked sadly.
"I w-wanna break up w-with her... but I'm scared of what she'll do" Regina said with a stutter.
Emma smiled to herself. "Yeah?" She asked.
"Mmm" Regina sighed biting her lip.
She turned to Emma with her chair which made Emma between her legs. Emma leaned in and the both kissed each other passionately showing their love for each other. When they pulled back they stared into each other's eyes.
"Thank you" Regina breathed out.
"For what?" Emma asked and  then pecked the brunette's lips.
"Showing me what it's liked to be cared for?" Regina said and looked down.
Emma put her fingers under Regina's chin so she was looking at her and indicating for her to continue.
"You see..." Regina started. "Robin and I met in Boston four years ago in my office. She came to get her book published. She started showing a certain liking towards me... and I honestly did too you know? After a week or two she asked me on a date where she asked me to be her girlfriend and I of course said yes. But a year after we were together she started getting aggressive. She slapped me one night for not cooking her dinner, stupid things like that. She apologized for doing it. Only that one time. But then it constantly started to happen more and more. Every time I tried to leave or go stay with my sister Zelena or even my mother she always found a way to get me back to stay with.... sadly, it always worked. No one eve saw how she truest was behind closed doors. But I don't blame her I do deserve some of the things she does to me."
"No, my love, no one. Not even you deserves to be treated like that. " Emma said lovingly
To that Regina broke down in Emma's arms. At that moment she realized she was falling very much in love with the blonde and it was happening fast.
