Me, Poppy, Hunter, and the Ape Squad sat watching the conjouring2. Katy was sent back to her dad's place since she had to go back to school. Sand and Stone where laying at my feet, Jake was leaning on my shoulder, Ezra sat on the couch with his legs crossed, Oliver and Poppy were cuddling *gags*, Hunter was sitting with his legs stretched out on the couch and Caleb was laying on the floor with his head in my lap. I felt a cold touch on my cheek, I brushed my face. Then something touched my neck, I brushed my neck. Then something grabbed my shoulders. I turned around and slapped whatever was behind me. Everyone sat up with the sound of my slap. My eyes widened and my jaw fell when I saw Hunter holding his cheek with a furious expression. Everything went dead silent. I discreetly tapped Calebs head, gesturing him to move. As soon as him head lifted up, I ran for it. I ran staright into the kitchen with a angry Hunter on my tail. I ran around the counter, opposite to were Hunter was standing. He walked ran left to try to catch me but I dodged and ran into the living room. I jumped over the couch and and flipped it. "And Mia Rose King dodges The undefeated Hunter James Walker, flipping the couch and leaving Walker trapped" Jake shouted from the top of his lungs. Me and Hunter both paused to give Jake a questioning look, he shrugged. I look back at Hunter a realised what was going on, I started to run a again. I ran up the stairs and so did Hunter. He was almost close to the top when I slid down the railing, going down right past him. I everyone laughed really loud. I jumped of the raining and ripped off the curtain railing to use as a weapon. Hunter stood 2 meters away from me giving me the most deadliest glare. I dropped everything and ran towards the kitchen. As I was about to enter the kitchen, I was tackled to the ground by the one and only Hunter. He held my hands above me head and he hovered over me. He looked closely at my face and his eye had a gold ring around them. He was reading my mind.

'I know your reading my mind, you dick'

His eyebrows shot up and I laughed under him. He let go of me and stormed out to the garden. What the hell was that? I ran out to the garden and spottted Hunter on the swings. I walked up slowly not making a sound and sat down on the swing I claimed as mine. Yes I claimed a swing! I stabbed Ezra with a fork when he was sitting on it last week. I faced Hunter and saw him alreadly looking at me.

"Is everthing ok, Hunter?"

"No, everthing seems wrong"

I furrowed my eyebrows, "What do you mean?"

He shuffled to face me properly, "Mia why are you like this?"

I lifted my eyebrow, "Like what?"

I saw him clench his fist, "Why are you so crazy? Why aren't you scared of me, of who I am?"

"I'm not scared of anything Hunter"

Now he lifted his eyebrown, "Everyone's scared of something, Mia. I'm a vampire so goodness sake, I'm a killer, i'm a preditor. How are you not scared of me?"

I sighed and dropped my head, "I've been through hell Hunter, I'd be surprised if I was scared of something".

Hunter stood up all of a sudden, "What do you mean, 'been though hell'?"

I stood up and turned around to leave. Hunter grabbed my wrist and turned my back around to which only resulted me falling into his chest. I lifted my head up and looked him staright into his eyes. "Tell me, Mia" he whispered into my ear. "I'm destroyed my own peace" I manged to whisper out. I fell into darkness...

Dream

I leaned fowards listening to my mums coversation. "I love you" she giggled. I thought dad wasn't allowed to use a phone at work. "He's gone you can come".

Moments later...

A stranger walked through our door, "Hello?"

"I'm here, love"

I watched as my mum looped her hands around his neck and kissed him. They both disappeard into mums room. I tugged at the roots of my hair, "No, this isn't true, she can't do this, dad doesn't know".

I walked backwards until my back his my wall. I slid down the wall and clung onto my knees.

"This can't be true" I whispered rocking back and fourth.

Dream over

"This can't be true, she can't do this, he was right"

"Mia!"

"This can't be true!"

"Mia, wake up"

I stretched my eyes open and saw Poppy holding a glass of water to my mouth. I took a sip and sat up holding the duvet closer to my chest. I glanced up and saw a very concerned Ape Squad, worried Poppy and a frowing Hunter.

Caleb leaned closer, "Are you ok, Mia?"

I held my hand to my head, "yeah, how long was I out?"

Hunter stepped forwards, "5 hours"

My eyes widened, "What happened?"

Hunter sat on my bed with his arms crosses, "That's what I want to know?"

Poppy hit Hunter on his shoulder, "The girls just woken up, give her a break"

Hunters eye's flashed red, "everyone leave the room"

Nobody budged. "I'm going to say this one more time. Leave. The. Room."

Everyone stepped out hesitantly. I gulped and looked at Hunter. "Mia, tell me what's going on?"

"I..c..can't" I stuttered.

"And why not?" he said sternly making me flinch.

"It's too painful"

"What's too painful?"

I squeezed my eyes shut, "There still here, I don't want to awaken them"

I felt Hunters arms on my shoulders, "Who, Mia?"

"The things that keep me up at night, the things that won't drown, the things that won't die, the things that make me insane".

"You can tell me anything, Mia"

I nodded playing with my fingers. "I will, but not now".

I gave Hunter a faint smile as he got up and left my room. He gave me nod and shut my door. My head fell back onto my pillow and let darknedd invade once again.
