Dominance, power, lust and envy are the few things that come with a price. The price of life. Soon the most dreaded gang of the Bombay underworld was going to find out. The Sicarios, a gang of assassins and drug lords which dominated the very foundation of the city of Bombay, was the most dreaded. Merciless and crafty as they were in killing, unity was not one of their strongest suits. It is true what they say, 'Deceit runs deep, in the cracks of loyalty'.

The gang's very existence rested on the 5 pillars, which were the gang lords. The founder's son, Rana Sachdeva was the leader under whose guidance the gang thrived. No cop could even touch them. That was the power of Rana Sachdeva. The other four were Nayak Bhilai, Gopal Kali, Ranga Maithun and Mukesh Survey. These four were waiting for an opportunity which would help them ascend to the leader's position. What fueled this ambition was the hatred for each other. But these 5 pillars were unaware of the storm which was headed their way.

Rana Sachdeva sat at a round table in a cheap bar on the streets of Bombay. The Bombay Babes was famous for it's dances, drinks and the cheap drugs. In the Bombay underworld, that bar was the ideal location for drug deals. So, Rana sat at the table with a man, Hari Omprakash, a smuggler from Sri Lanka, who was offering the mighty drug, a metric tonne of the world's finest marijuana. Hari had a briefcase in which he carried a sample. He showed it to Rana who was inspecting the box when a reddish beep caught his eye. He turned the box over and discovered a tracking device. Before he could take out his gun, a gunshot quite loud was heard. Hari Omprakash had fired a bullet at the lord's head who fell to the floor with a thud. His eyes started at the man's eyes with astonishment despite the fact that he was dead. The entire bar was vacated as no body wanted to be found by the police, who were led to the location, thanks to the tracker.

The very next day Nayak, Khala, Ranga and Shreedhar met. Their lord's death was the opportunity they were waiting for. The gang could be one of the gang lord's. All of them were having a heated conversation about the future of The Sicarios. But neither of them could come up with a solution. In their minds they knew, their was only one way. Death.

From now, I, the author will divide the story into 3 parts.😅

----------------------------------------

THE BETEL LEAF EXPLOSION

After the death of Rana, his fellow gang lords divided the Gang's specially trained cavalry of 40 equally.

Nayak and Mukesh met at an isolated farmhouse near the outskirts of Bandra. These were the right and left hand of Rana. They had met to negotiate and plan how to get rid of the other two gang lords. They shared the same opinion that the tussle between these 4 lords for control couldn't be allowed to destroy the entire gang.

At the farmhouse they sat at a long table with all their men and discussed their future. Since they were Indians a meeting without food was quite impossible. So after the meeting was done dinner was served. After the dinner was served, 42 shots were brought to the table. Desi Rum was like water for all Bombay people. But all the people in the room were unaware that 11 of the shots were spiked with acetyle nitrate, an explosive substance. The shots were served and were gulped down in a second. After that the best part of the dinner, the paan. But something was different. These paans were actually fire paans with actual flames. These were quite famous in the entire country.

Everyone picked up one and put it in their mouths. For one gang lord's group it tasted fabulous and for the other, it tasted like fire. In seconds the heads of 11 people exploded, resulting in a very graphic death.
Nayak and his men walked out of the farmhouse as if nothing had happened. In his mind he felt pride and triumphant that one competitor was out of the game. Mukesh and men's death was a complete success.

THE WISHING WELL.
Meanwhile when heads were exploding in Bandra
At the Bloomington Apartments in Thane, Ranga and Gopal were sitting on 2 comfortable recliners near a fire planning to kill Nayak. One of Nayak's men had told them about his plan. But at the corner of the room, hidden behind a curtain, two chloroform cylinders were releasing a toxic nightmare.
Both the parties had decided to put an TNT explosive in the bottom of Nayak's car while he is at the office. Their crafty minds couldn't plan something more interesting. After the talking part was done they both shaked their hands. But before they could move apart. Ranga pulled Gopal closer and whispered in his ear, " hydrocyanic acid is an antidote of chloroform". By the time Khala realised that, he and his men fainted to the ground.

Ranga and his men secretly smuggled them out of the building in suitcases(Yes 11 suitcases) and took them to an old temple. Since it was night, the gates were shut. They broke in and shot the two priests who were sleeping on the floor. They rolled the suitcases to a well at the temple's behind. It was empty. His men dropped each bodyguard and soldier in the well and poured 20 gallons of Hydrofluoric Acid. They then went away from the temple in their cars.

In his mind Ranga thought, their bodies would vanish in a days time. The acid would eat them and there shall be no sign of 11 men, who disappeared over night.
THE FINAL SHOWDOWN

It's funny how a person slowly peels of his skins of deceit and how despicable he could be. Ranga and Nayak were few people who could get crafty as well as murderers at the same time. They knew how their minds worked. So they had to decide who would take over the empire of Sicarios and hence the Bombay underworld.
They met at the Bombay Babes, but this time the entire bar was vacated. The bodyguards stood outside with their guns and the lords both stood on the dance floor looking in each others eyes with hatred. Each put forward a proposal, but there was no way both ends were gonna meet. So the conversation turned into a heated arguments and both of them took out their revolvers. Both of them were literally at gun point. Coincidentally they both pulled the trigger at the same time, but more that 10 gunshots were heard. The bodyguards had entered the bar and shot their own masters.

Ranga and Nayak both feel to the ground with lifeless eyes and empty guns. The bodyguards had switched them.

At the bar's entrance, stood Rana Sachdeva with his revolver. A figure of pride and death. As it turns out

the alliance with Hari Omprakash had been a bust. They had paid Hari a huge load of money to kill their boss, but as it turns out Rana got to know about it somehow. He paid Hari more money to stage his death. So Hari, instead of shooting a real bullet switched it for a fake one.
And here stood Rana Sachdeva with a smug smile. He knew that if the lords thought he had died the greed for power would consume all the lords and they would try to kill each other, until no one left.

But he couldn't wait for the last two, so he killed them through their bodyguards.

In his mind Rana thought, the lords should have known that at the end of the day, the bodyguards were his.

The remaining bodyguards and Rana left the bar, sat in their expensive cars and drove off. After a covering a distance Rana's car exploded. The sticks of dynamite at the bottom of his car had obliterated every body part of his.

As the car went up in flames, neither of his bodyguards' cars stopped. Why would they? The schemers never care about who they kill.
All this long it was them. It were the bodyguards. They had allied with Hari and told him, if Rana approached him, they should not reveal anything.

They had to make Rana think that all this was his plan.

So that's that. Deceit does run deep in the cracks of loyalty. The bodyguards ascended to the empire's control as they had unity and in the process caused the gang lords to descend to their deaths.
