Chapter 3: Leave her alone

Y/n's pov
   I parked my car and looked around me. I had to blend in with the race wars. I take off my heavy jacket and my cap then throw it in the back of the car.  And I look down at my entire and smile. I've got a tank top on with worn jeans and black boots. (Picture at the top) I get out of the my car and a guy that kept the money until the end of the race came up to me. "Hey, y/n. What's up? Good to see you." He says giving me a friendly handshake and a small hug. "Hey, Drake. It's been a long time since I'd seen you. Have you seen you Letty?" I asked with curiosity. Drake shakes his head no and looks back towards the two cars getting ready to race. "No, I haven't.
       She's around here somewhere." Drake says with a nod. I walk away and turn back around. "Thanks, Drake. Catch you later." I say walking away from my car. I look around for Letty and I don't see her anywhere. She could be anywhere. Soon I feel someone call out to me. I turn to see who it was and it was one of the guys that always flirts with the women at the race wars. "Hey, baby. How about you come with me and we have some real fun?" The guy says with a smirk on his face. I shake my head in disgust. And try to walk away from him. "No, thanks.
  I'm not interested." I say with venom​ in my voice. The guy sigh and grabs my arm turning me around to face him. "Oh, come on, babe. Don't be like that." He says pulling me closer to him. I pull away from him and step back a little. "Get your filthy hands off of me." I say with anger in my voice. The guy smirks and walks quickly towards me. "Feisty little girl you are, now that's what I like." The guy says grabbing my arm once again and goes to kiss me. I pull away from him and slap him across the cheek. The guy groans and look at me with a devious look. "Your going to pay for that." He says walking quickly towards me and makes a fist to punch me.
      I close my eyes and wait for the impact to come, but it never does. I open my eyes to see Dom holding the guy's fist in his hand. He shakes his head in disappointment and push the guy's fist away making him fall to the ground. "Do you have no respect for women like her? The lady said she didn't want to be touched. Now run along before you cause problems." Dom says looking down at the man. He scrambles up onto his feet and goes through the crowd. Dom turn towards me and gives me a big smile. "Y/n! It's so nice to see you again. How are you?" Dom says giving me a big hug. I smile at the hug Dom gives me. Dom has always felt like a big brother to me. We were always so close together when we were little.
      "I'm doing great, Dom." I say with a smile. I hear someone say my name and I turn to see Letty with a smile and she runs towards me to give me a hug. "Y/n, it's so good to see you. What are you doing here?" Letty ask curiously. I look at Letty and back to Dom. "I need your help." I say seriously. I see Letty's concerned look on her face and she gestures for me to follow. I follow her and Dom towards a garage and I automatically knew it was Dom's. We walk inside and sit at the table. "What's wrong, y/n?" Letty ask. I look down at the table and wonder if I should show Letty and Dom my powers. I sigh and open up my hand.
      The fire spreads out to my finger tips. Letty looks at my hand in curiosity. "H..How did this happen?" Dom ask looking at me. I look up into Dom's eyes and sigh. "Well, I got captured by a group called HYDRA. And they experimented​ on me and gave me super serum which makes you stronger and they gave me fire powers and mind reading powers. I can't control my fire powers and I need help." I say with a plead. Dom and Letty look at each other and back at me. Dom drops a key on the table and I take it. "Here. This is the beach house that me and Letty own. You can use it until everything dies down." Dom says with a smile. I smile at them and give them both a hug.
   "Thank you guys so much. Your the best." I say walking out of the garage. I start to walk back to my car until people start crowding around me. "Hey, y/n. What's up? I heard that hydra turned you into a monster." One of the girls said. My hands started to shake. I wanted to leave as soon I could. "Look out she's dangerous." One of the guys said and he pushed me towards another group. "Monster, Monster, monster." People surrounding me kept saying. I felt like my world was spinning fast and I covered my ears and begged for it to stop. I felt my skin get hotter and I knew that I was about to explode.
          I suddenly heard a voice yell. I uncovered my ears and looked to see Letty and Dom standing in front of me. "Stop! Just leave her alone!" Letty yelled at the crowd. Dom held out his hand to me and helped me up. I looked over at Letty and she walks over to me. "She's not dangerous. Don't you get it. She was forced to kill all of those innocent people. She not what she use to be." Letty says with anger laced in her voice. Letty looks over at me and helps me to my car. I get in and look at Dom and Letty. "Thank you so much for your help." I say with a small smile.
  Dom nods his head in understanding and smiles. "Don't worry, y/n. It's the least I could do for my little sister." Dom say leaning down and kissing my forehead. "You take care of yourself." Letty says with a smile. I nod my head and smile at the both of them. "I will." I say. I look behind Letty and Dom, and I swear I just saw something metal shine in my eyes. I rub my eyes and blink my eyelids. I guess I was just imagine things.

Bucky's pov
  I look over at y/n in her car. She looked terrible. No matter how hard she tried to hide it, she was afraid of what she could do. Y/n drives off and goes out of the race wars and towards somewhere. I decided to follow her.

Hey guys. I bet your wondering why I added Letty and Dom into this chapter. The reason why is that the reader knew Dom when she was little and also is really good friends with Letty. Letty was the only one who would understand what the reader was going through along with Dom. So I hope you enjoy this chapter and have a wonderful day.
