After an abnormal day of school I took the long way home. I was singing along to the radio and bent down to grab my water bottle that had fallen on the floor of the passenger side when my car broke down.

After half hour of poking around in the hood of my grandmas piece of shit Chevy pick-up I started walking down the road.

To my surprise another car came down the road.

He swerved on the road when he saw me.

"What the hell!" He yelled.

It was the boy from school.

"I need help genius!" I yelled gesturing to my car. "Forget it." I said pushing past him and walking down the road.

"Wait," he yelled.

But I didn't listen.

Eventually I had to go back for my sneakers because heels weren't cutting it and I wanted to run.

I pulled on my sneakers and crawled out of my car.

He laughed at my appearance, a skirt and sneakers.

I sneered at him, before taking off running down the road.

According to my necklace I'd been running for two hours before I got home to grandmas, it was 6:04.

I was welcomed home by cold, dry meat loaf and strong, cold, black coffee.

Yum.
