Chapter One

Carley's Pov

I'm laying on the couch waiting for my best friend Danni to come get me, we're going out for lunch.

"Carley, where's my favorite shirt?" asked my brother Michael.

"I don't know Mikey nor i care" i say looking back at my phone.

"Of course you would care" he rolls his eyes, and sits on the couch.

"To lazy to look for it, i see" i say.

"Says the one laying on the couch" he says then goes on his phone.

"Oh shut up" i roll my eyes.

The door bell rings.

"I ain't getting it" Mikey says.

"Of course you won't, your to lazy" i roll my eyes, and get up to open the door.

I open the door, and see three boys.

"What?" i ask.

"Is Michael home?" one of them asked.

"No, he's out with his girlfriend" i say sarcastically, and roll my eyes playfully.

Mikey comes running to the door.

"Hey guys, i see you have met my annoying sister" he says.

"Oh shut up, your the annoying one always asking mom to buy you games" i say.

He pushes my face, making my glasses almost fall. The three boys laugh.

"Come in" Mikey says.

I head back into the living room, to wait for Danni again. I go on snap chat, and i start looking at my streaks. I reply to all of them. My highest is one hundred thirty nine. I walk into the kitchen and see all the boys sitting on the table looking at there phones. I open the fridge and grab a 7up.

"Is this what you guys do when you visit each other?" i ask.

"No" one of the boys said.

"Carl, why do you care?" Mikey says then rolls his eyes.

"Yeah, keep rolling your eyes, maybe you'll find brain back there" i joke.

The three boys laugh. The door bell rings, i go open the door.

"Hey Carl" smiled Danni.

"Hey Dan, your finally here" i say.

"Sorry i took long, my brother is a handful" she said.

"That's ok, but Ready?" i ask.

"Yes" she says.

I get into the passengers seat, Danni gets into the drivers. She plugs her phone to the aux cord, and starts playing Blink. The ride felt so long, after like twenty minutes of driving we finally get to the restaurant. Danni parks next to one of our friends car, we're having lunch with him, and his brother. Their really nice, fun, funny, just great friends. We find them, and we head to go sit with them.

"Hey guys" smiled Danni.

"Hey Dan" smiled Samuel.

"Hey" said Adam.

"So Carl, how have you been?" asked Sam, and smiled.

"I'm great, how about you?" i smile.

"I've seen better days" he says.

"If you ever need to talk i'm here" i smile, and he returns one.

After we were done eating, Danni drives me home.

"Bye Dan" i smile and wave goodbye.

"Bye Carl" she smiles and waves back.

I walk inside, i head into the living room. I see the same three boys, they're playing Zombies.

"Oh, thought you guys left" i say.

"No" one of them say.

"I'm Ashton" Ashton smiled, i smile back.

"Luke" Luke says.

One of the boys kept staring at me.

"And that's Calum, he's been staring at you since you got here" Ashton says laughing slightly.

Calum's cheeks turn bright red, also mine.

"Well Carl, you can leave now bye" my brother said then gave me a fake smile.

"Always bossy this one" i roll my eyes and head upstairs.

I walk into my room and charge my phone. I tie my hair into a messy bun, and i take off my glasses and i start taking off my makeup. After i was done, i turn around and see Calum standing at my doorway.

"Uh... What did you come here for?" i ask a little surprised.

"Do you got a name? Or can i call you mine?" he asked. "Just kidding" he adds.

"I heard that already" i laugh. "But nice try" i add.

"So, i didn't get your name, you got mine. So what's yours" he smirks.

"Secret" i smirk back.

"Hi secret, i'm Calum" he jokes

"Very funny" i say sarcastically.

"Tell be your name, so we can be best friends" he smiles.

"Carley" i smile.

"So? Best friends?" he smiles sticking out his hand for me to shake it.

"Best friends" i smile and shake his hand.

"Calum with flirting with my sister and get back down here" Mikey yells from downstairs.

"Typical Mikey" me and Calum say at the first time making us laugh.

"Well i got to go, see you around best friend" he smiles.

"See you around to best friend" i smile back.

He leaves downstairs.
