Chapter 14- Stop Fighting

But you know me... Risking my life is the only thing I know how to do... plus... last time I checked... lucas was the last one with Alissa.

I grabbed my pistol from out my poker and headed out the gate... I walked around Alissa's body to see... of course... lucas on the ground... no bites... just a freaking flesh eating animal on top of him... Lucas was fighting "Don't come any closer you might die!" He screamed at me as he repetedivly punched it in the head...

Did I listen to you? Ha no... I drop kicked that son of a bitch in the face as everyone heard me scream as it top a chuck out of lucas' left arm...

Everyone kept screaming "Lucas, Lexus stop" I felt so much anger build up inside of me when I stopped to turn around when I first saw the bite...

I turned to face the zombie getting back up and running towards me. I ran back at him at smashed face first with its head. It fell before I did so I got back up and stomped my boot into its head repetedivly.

"Lexus just stop fighting already... you've done enough" Lucas said "Are you kidding me Lucas? I just saved your fucking life and that's all you have to say?" He tried to say something but I cut him off "Know what no shut up ok I don't need you to tell me you're worried about me because I could have left all of you guys back at the house but I didn't because you guys mean so much... but I get all I am to you is an fucking object used to save your life and then throw away" that was all I said before hoping into my black jeep with Josh, Tyler, and Brendon.

"Where are you going?" Tristan asked in a kind voice "Just out for a drive and looking for supplies, lock the gate up and stay indoors, you're in charge while we are gone. Oh and Tristan..." I paused "Tell them... im sorry" I said and drove off.

~on the way back after supplies hunt~

While we were driving back I saw a house with a blue and pink ish curtain but what made it interesting was there was a shadow... in the house a human one and then the curtain closed all of a sudden...ni was awoken from my trance by tyler breaking the extremely awkward silence.

"You know... we are worried about you... all you do is fight... why tho why go through the pain of fighting?" Tyler said in a quiet and kind voice.

We got back to the house after about 10 minutes after him asking the question. I stopped the car and looked at him looking out the window, he looked back at me.

"Because I'm scared" I replied "I know it's crazy... the whole Apocalypse thing... I might seem like I'm not afraid but out of all of us... im the most afraid... but that's what makes me stronger than ever... the fact that every moment of my life... I might just die... right there..." I got out of the car and grabbed the only bag we had and walked into the house.

Short but eventful chapter, but more will be coming soon... I know I've said I would update more often but with my phone broken and not always having wifi at home its kind of hard and I will be posting like 3 chapter right before the may long weekend and not this weekend but next weekend I will also be posting before because next weekend I am camping with cadets and may long weekend I am also again camping with my survive air cadet team soo...
