"Yes, hello, this is Park Jimin." Jimin said into his phone as he pulled into the parking lot of Mila's apartment complex. "I just wanted to let you know that Jiho won't be coming in today." He put the car in park and removed the keys from ignition. "No, no, he's perfectly fine. We're just not sure if we want him to continue going to preschool at the moment." He walked across the parking lot into the building. "Yes, thank you for understanding, goodbye." He hung up the phone as he entered the elevator, thanking God that no one else was in there so he wouldn't have to deal with people or awkward silences.
When the elevator reached the 3rd floor, he exited and made his way to the apartment. He knocked on the door only for it to open mere seconds later, revealing an unfamiliar male. "I'm sorry, do I have the wrong apartment?" He asked, even though he was 100% sure this was Mila's apartment.
"Daddy!" He heard Jiho yell out.
"Oh, you're here for the kid." The guy stepped aside to let Jimin in. He walked into the living room to see Jiho sitting on the couch watching Family Guy.
"Uh, Jiho, where's your mom?"
"She's taking a bath." Jiho said, not averting his gaze from the TV.
"Hey, let's not watch that right now." Jimin said, picking up the remote and turning the TV off. "You ready to go?"
"I guess." Jiho suddenly got a little sad as he grabbed his backpack from beside him and slid off the couch.
"What's that face for? You shouldn't be sad when you're going to visit Tae Tae and Kookie!" Jiho's face brightened up at the mention of Jimin's friends. He ran off towards the door. "Hey! Wait for me! If you run off like that, someone could steal you!" Jimin called after him as he followed. He nodded at the still unknown male. "Person I don't know." He met Jiho, who was patiently waiting at the door, and took his hand before leading him out of the apartment.

"Now stay here, okay? I'll come over and check on you every chance I get." Jimin told Jiho who was now sitting in a booth at the corner of the restaurant. "Taehyung should be here in a few minutes and he'll sit with you."
"Okay, daddy." Jiho said happily, coloring in his coloring book. Jimin ruffled his hair and turned around, coming face to face with the manager.
"Jimin, why is your son here?"
He gestured for Hoseok to follow him. "We're having a few issues with his current school, and I didn't really have any other options." Jimin said truthfully, knowing that if he hadn't brought Jiho to work with him, Mila would have gone ahead and taken him to the preschool.
Hoseok sighed. "I guess I'll let it slide, but if he eats any food, it comes out of your paycheck."
"Of course, thank you Hobi."
"Hey!" Hoseok playfully glared at him. "It's 'sir' to you when we're in the workplace." Hoseok patted his back and walked off. Jimin turned around to check on Jiho, who was still happily coloring, before going off to take orders.

Jimin put his notepad up at the end of his shift, just in time for lunch. "Hey, buddy, are you hungry?" He asked as he walked up to Jiho and Taehyung, carrying three menus after having decided to just eat lunch there.
"Actually, my stomach has been growling-"
"Not you, Tae." Jimin rolled his eyes as he sat next to Jiho. He looked down at the small boy. "What do you want to drink? Orange juice or milk?"
"Can I have coke?"
Jimin looked over at Taehyung confused, the same look mirrored on Taehyung's face, then looked back at Jiho. "When have you ever had coke?"
"Mommy's friend gave me some this morning. It was good."
"Mommy's friend?" Taehyung asked.
"There was some guy at Mila's apartment when I picked Jiho up." Jimin turned back to Jiho. "Jiho, you know coke is a big kid drink, and that you aren't supposed to drink it until you're older."
"I know." Jiho pouted. "I'm sorry."
"It's okay." He ruffled his hair. "Now, orange juice or milk?"
"Milk!" Jiho decided as Jungkook walked up to take their orders.
"Alright, milk it is. And for the lovely couple?" Jungkook looked between Taehyung and Jimin.
"Shut up you idiot." Taehyung said, then opened his mouth to order his drink when Jiho cut him off.
"That is a bad word!" Jiho looked up at Jimin in shock. "He said a bad word!"
Jimin laughed as he looked at Taehyung. "You heard him. Apologize."
Taehyung sighed. "I'm sorry Jiho."
