King And Lionheart

I lay in bed as, slowly opening my eyes when I feel somebody shaking me. I look up at Rose as she looks down at me.

"Mom can I talk to Sydney?" She whines, giving me her puppy eyes as I giggle.

"Only if you go shopping today. You are old enough to go through the kingdom but bring your brother." I reply back groggily, sitting up and rubbing the slumber out of my eyes. She nods happily, screaming Lucas's name before grabbing the bag I made her. I get up, stretching as  quickly dress into my clothes. I walk outside, heading towards the bridge to go for a swim. I begin to rummage for my bathing suit before spotting something out of the corner of my eye in the water. I look down, seeing Pixel's body floating lifeless in the water as I scream. I run down as I grab his hand. I become paralyzed with fear, feeling the same ice cold feeling from when Tristan died. I immediately pull his body out of the water with all my might, carrying him to the city while screaming for help. People begin to wake up and spot me, immediately running over to help. I crumble to the ground crying, my hands covering my face.

"Sky are you alright?!" I hear Roxy shout as I look up, seeing her make her way through the crowd. I reach my arms out to her as she helps me to my feet, hugging me.

"What happened to Pixel?!" Roxy asks worryingly, looking at the soaking wet body on the ground. I look at his face, his lips were blue as his face was purple. I bury my face into Roxy's shoulder as I hear a scream echo out around the kingdom. I look over sadly, seeing Tristan crying out sadly. He kneels besides Pixel, hugging his corpse. My heart aches seeing Tristan, feeling the same way when I lost Athior to Emery.

"Hey guys I know this isn't the great time.... But Emery and I are going to try and have kids!" Athior shouts as everybody glares at him.

"Sorry not much of a grieving person...." Athior mumbles, spinning on his heel and walking off.

"Tristan... I'm so so sorry..... This should have never happened...."I mumbles, reaching out to hug him before he moves away.

"This is your god damn fault!" He screams at me, his eyes filled with tears.

"W-what... T-Tristan?" I reply in shock.

"I should have never hung out with the kids more than seeing Pixel! I loved him god damn it! You ruined it!" He begins to bellow out angrily, standing up and towering over me. I sit there on the ground in shock, tears filling my eyes. I immediately stumble to my feet and run to the exit of the kingdom.

"S-Sky please wait! I didn't mean it!" Tristan shouts back but I don't respond, continuing to run. I finally reach the area where the invisible barrier stands. I continue banging on it, crying sadly as I slump down onto the ground. I look out past the barrier, seeing the dead trees separating the barrier from the forest. I turn around quickly, hearing a twig snap as I shape shift into my elemental wolf form.

"S-Sky it's OK... It's just me..."Roxy murmurs as I transform back. She runs over, hugging me.

"I came here to tell you.... It's about Tris. She's threatening to kill them if they don't come out of Kat's shop. She's going to take them away." Roxy whispers in my ear as I immediately get up.

"What!? Why would she do that!?" I begin to stammer but force my sentence out.

"She's accusing them of trying to steal from the store." Roxy murmurs as she stands up, pulling me to her feet before getting her war face on.

"We have to stop that bitch." She growls as I nod, transforming into my fire phoenix form. I make the fire die down on my body, revealing white shiny feathers as Roxy climbs on my back.

"Don't worry when we get to the kingdom I'll jump off and use my fire powers to hover a bit." Roxy yells as we take flight. I flap my wings, soaring up into the sky as I begin to fly towards the kingdom. I do a few turns here and there trying to avoid some medium mountains. I spot the kingdom as Roxy jumps off near the bridge. I dive down into the town, turning back into a human as I land softly on the ground. I look up at Tris, spotting my kids between the two dorms. I watch angrily as nobody helps them. I scream using my air powers to boost myself forward and slide in front of my children.

"Stay away from them!" I scream, lifting my arms up as a smirk appears on Tris's face.

"Like I said.... You always appear at the best times.." Tris chuckles out before unsheathing her sword. I focus a bit and notice she is not wearing her armor, just the sheath holding her sword. She begins to laugh, dashing forward. I think fast, using my air powers to push my kids into the dorm before feeling something slice into my stomach. I cough out in pain, looking down to see a sword sliced through me. I cough, blood splattering on the ground and the blade. I look up at Tris, looking behind her to see Roxy. I force a smile as she screams, tears filling her eyes. Tris pulls the sword out of me as I stumble backwards. I fall back but feel somebody catch me. I look up, seeing my son's face.

"L-Lucas...." I murmur out, placing my hand on the side of his face.

"Y-you've grown so much.... P-please... protect your sister...." I choke out, tears filling my eyes as he starts crying.

"No.... No! You can't die mom! Please! I can't lose you!" He screams, pulling me into a hug.

"Please... You should be a man by now.... You're 15.... Almost 16.... J-just a few more days...." I cough as I force a smile. I finally hear Rose break as she screams. I feel a strong gust of wind surround us as she walks over to Tris. I see her lift up her arm as she blasts Tris against the wall. Lucas runs over to Rose, comforting her as I hear a familiar sniffle. I somebody lift me up a bit before I flinch in pain, grunting. I look up, seeing Tristan's face. I see tears fill his eyes as he begins to cry. He places me down a bit, still holding me in his arms.

"I shouldn't have blamed you for Pixel's death.....I'm so sorry Sky...." He chokes out, crying and screaming. I grab his hand, intertwining my fingers with his. He looks over where Tris stabbed me, looking back towards me.

"S-she killed out child... No.. No no no! This isn't fair! I promised I would protect you!" Tristan shrieks as he brings my head towards his. He connects out foreheads together.

"D-don't blame yourself..... We both had no clue this was going to happen." I whisper, feeling weak. I look over, seeing Rose crying. I use my other hand to wipe her tears. I smile before my arm falls, feeling weak. I turn to Tristan feeing sleepy.

"No Sky don't go!" Tristan shrieks as I close my eyes. I'm not leaving. I just need to close my eyes.... I'm tired.... Very tired... I think to myself before their voices fade and I am left in complete darkness.
