Hiding Behind Talents

First Kiss

I see her walk into the door where he is waiting, and start to walk to the door. My heels clank against the ground as I walk. I take off my heels and carry them, as I walk. I get to the door and lightly press my ear to it.

"Love lettew?" She asks, I'm assuming she said 'letter', not 'lettew.' I smile knowing what she's reading. 'She's gonna kill them.' I smirk to myself.

After a little I hear mumbling coming from behind. I also hear clanks against the floor. I hurry and hop to the nearest window, behind me. I make it look like I've been there, the whole time. I use my arms to boost me up, and sit with my leg hanging over the edge. "Oh, hello." I look behind me to see Kanako behind me.

"Get a little tired of partying?" I giggle looking at her. "Yeah, it's hard... do you know if this is open?" She asks heading to the door that Haru is in. I shrug, and gesture for her to open it. She nods and opens the door, once it opens she gasps. "Sorry for disrupting!" She says frantically, she hurridly closes the door, and runs away. "Kanato!" The boy runs out of the room and to Kanato, who is on the verge of tears.

Haru walks out, and looks down the way they ran. "Don't you think that was a little harsh?" She asks walking beside Tamaki, who just popped up. I hop off my ledge, shoes in hand, and walk to them. I stand on the left of Tamaki, as Haru stands on the right. "Yes, but at least he went after her." He smiles looking at Haru. Haru looks up to him, a smile on her face.

I get the feeling I'm not wanted, and start to walk behind where we are facing. I start walking and hear the ball, I lean on the wall beside the entrance, and look at the dark, and empty hallway. 'To think, one day we are forced into this box of crazy. The next, we're fixing lost relationships.' I giggle to myself, as the door opens and Hikaru's head pops out.

"Hey, we're all waiting." He says as he streatches his hand to me. I take it, completely forgetting my shoes are in it. "Really?" He asks looking at the heels. "T-They are n-not sneaking material." I shrug, as I drop the heels on the ground.

He sighs and bends down, I look down to his kneeling position, in question. "Here give me your foot." He instructs, I lift it up, as he takes it. He gently sets it in, and zips up the side. We do the same thing on the other one and he stands up. "Shall we?" He asks holding his arm out. I nod and loop mine around his. We both open one door and walk in.

We see everyone is on the balcony, and we follow suit, unlooping our arms. We open the door to see Kanako still being chased. He catches her arm, and she turns around. The spot lights shine on the couple. "The final dance shall be provided by this lovely couple!" One of the boys exclaims.

He's taken back at first then bows to her. I hear mumbling again, and then her nodding. He takes her hand as she leans her head on his chest. The symphony starts playing a slow song, as they sway to the music.

It's a beutiful sight, the two in love... even if they don't know it. During the last few chords they stop, and look into eachother's eyes. They smile, and connect their foreheads, as the final note gets played.

Everyone claps for the once confused girl and boy. Kyoya takes the mic, and starts talking. "The girl who has astounded us the most, gets a passionate kiss on the cheek. That honor goes to Princess Kanato, and the one to give that is-" He gets cut off by two very in sync, voices. "Haruhi!" The twins announce, I look over to them, and see mischief in their eyes.

Everyone gasps, as Tamaki is left standing like an idiot. "He did say it will be a fun night if something, intresting happend." They defend as I walk to them. "But, I don't want to." Haruhi says in a quiet voice. "We will drop your debt by two thousand yen.~" Kyoya announces to us. I dart to her and take her by the collar. "You'll do it." I say in a stern tone. "Well it's only a kiss on the cheek." She laughs nervously, as she waves her hands in dismissal.

She starts walking down as I stand beside the twins. "I k-know you t-two are up to s-something." I say to them, they just give me a smile, and shrug.

They both pull me to Tamaki, as they talk to him. "You don't think it's her first kiss is it?" Kaoru asks Hikaru, he shrugs and looks to me. "Is it, Kasai?" He asks in a sickeningly sweet tone. Tamaki almost blows a gasket, and runs to my sister. He gets closer and slips on a banana peel. He uses his arms to steady himself, which backfires as he pushes Haruhi's back. Her body turns from the impact and she goes slaming into the girl's lips! "PFFT!" I cover my mouth holding my laugh. They quickly seperate holding their mouths.

Multiple gasps, or awws are exchanged through the crowd. The twins beside are dying from the circumstance. I can't hold my laugh, I burst out laughing. I laugh so hard I hold my stomach, as I fall to the ground. I stand up after a while of laughing, and wipe away a tear from my eye. "I always knew she'd get a kiss first." I laugh towards the end, still trying to catch my breath.

"Wait, you've never been kissed?" The twins ask looking at me. I look to them and shake my head. "A-And I int-tend to keep it that way." I state as I move far away from them. They have this perverted look on their faces, and start walking towards me. "N-No, back away.." I warn walking backwards. The start charging at me, and I book it down the stairs. "Get her!" Kaoru yells as he pushes Hikaru. "BACK AWAY YOU DEMON TWINS!" I yell in defence, running faster.

~Haruhi's POV~

I see Kasai being chased by the twins, and her yelling at them. "All in all it was a good day." I sigh looking at my sister. 'And if she's happy... I'm happy.' I think watching smile, as she dodges Hikaru.
