"Yes, yes... I'm about to check in now... Alright then, bye." Simon has already landed in London, where his heart really lies.

"Konecki, Simon Konecki." He said to the front desk officer in the lobby of the hotel he was about to stay in for his first week in London.

As soon as he got his card key, he immediately went to his room and unpacked his luggage.

"9 am. Coffee meeting with London's D4D representative"

"Ugh. I love my schedule." Simon rolled his eyes as he closed his black leathered planner.

Before he even set his feet here in London, his first true goal is to find the love of his life.

Adele

It's the mix of excitement and fear. Simon missed Adele so much that he didn't stop thinking about her since they've separated. He wonders what she's doing, how's she and does she already forgave him for being such a coward dickhead for just letting their relationship went under the bridge.

Half of him are also eaten by fears. What if she still hates him? Or worst what if she already moved on from the heartbreak he had caused her.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid..." That was the most redundant word that has always slipped on Simon's mind everytime he remember the day he left London, the moment he crushed Adele's heart by his own gormless decision.

He thought that if he just had the guts to stay with her, everything would be fine and better. He shouldn't be deluding of the things that only exist in movies or fairy tales. He shouldn't be staying late at the bars and being a foolish drunkard. While on typical weekdays, he shouldn't be overworking at his company which is in fact, he can just stay at his mansion and live the luxurious life he well deserve.

But what has been done cannot be undone. He can't turn back the time and be a real man to Adele.

There's only one thing left he hasn't done despite these mistakes and regrets he blames on his self.

That is to find Adele and tell her everything he should have done long time ago.

"I will find you Del..." Simon kissed her girl's well-kept photograph and inserted it back to his planner.

...

"Good morning..." Adele said as her fingers roam around Rome's bare chest.

"I could really wakeup like this forever..." He wrapped his left hand on her waist and cuddled closer to her.

"...good morning too baby..." Rome added as he kissed Adele's bare shoulder too.

"Well excuse me Mr. I have a recording session today and you have a meeting with your boss later. If you don't mind, it's getting late." She said with the fine sass that made him smile from ear to ear. He loves how she's being a boss in everything she do. On how she don't let anyone sway her on making her own decisions. Rome don't know what he had done to deserve a perfect lady like Adele.

"Are you just going to stay there and watch me?" She asked cockily, raising her right brow with her infamous smirk.

"Well, I'm loving the view." He grabbed his jaw and slowly bit his lower lip.

"You know you cannot win over me by doing that Rome. Your just making fun of yourself." She said bending over and grabbing his loose shirt that lays on the white fur carpet.

"You're such a tease Laurie-" Her mood instantly changed, causing her glowing smile turn into a straight face emotion.

"Don't call me that name Rome..." She said as she tied her hair up in a half bun since she chopped it off on her 25th birthday.

"I thought you have moved on with Christopher?" He asked clearly with a little annoyance in his tone.

"We talked about this right? I thought we already fixed this?-" The couple was cut off when small tiny steps was heard outside from their room.

"Mummy?" Angelo asked with his sleepy voice.

"Yes honey?" Adele bent over to her child's height and placed him on her hips.

"Are you and daddy are fighting again?" Even tho at a young age, Angelo is a smart and clever boy. He easily grasps with his surroundings.

"No baby, daddy and I are just discussing about things... Are you hungry my little monkey?" She side swept his bangs that almost covered his eyes.

The little boy just nod in response as soon as a yawn came over.

"Okay, let's go downstairs, we'll make breakfast aye?"

"Adele." Rome butted in before the two went out from the room.

"Shut up. Please." That was her only response before they finally left him.

...

"I'm sorry baby..." She felt instantly calm when pair of his hands wrapped around her waist.

"I'm sorry for doubting you about your ex..." He added as he rested his chin on her shoulders.

"Rome if your thinking that Christopher still have an effect on me, it isn't anymore babe. He's my past and you are my present. Pasts should be left behind." She locked their orbs together. A beautiful color of green and brown combined.

"I'm afraid he-" Adele hushed him off by placing a sweet kiss on top of his lips.

"No he won't Rome. Okay?" She assured him.

"Okay... I have to go babe, I'll see you after lunch?" He said as she fixed and buttoned his collar.

"Drop later at XL, Peanut and I will wait for you there. I love you too babe." She kissed his cheeks and walked him to the door.

...

By 8:50 in the morning, Rome was already seated at the coffee shop. After he ordered his Americano, a medium built man stood in front of him.

"You must be Mr. Rome Hughes?" His deep raspy voice asked.

"Yes I am. Good morning sir!" He gladly stood up and shook his hand.

"I'm Simon Konecki, just call me Simon, no need for formalities."
