I did it! I finally said to him what I truly feel, and to be honest, I'm really nervous now but I know there is no turning back now.
" Hiro?"
Hiro just looked at me and didn't say a thing. I don't know what he was thinking and the awkward silence is really getting into my nerves already.
" Hiro, please say something, I just told you I like you."
" I..I just don't know what to say." Hiro said sadly. The awkward air was really felt badly that moment.
" I think you should just forget about your feelings for me Joey."
Ouch! now that really hurts, he could at least say thank you before telling me to forget my feelings for him.
" Joey, I.."
" Do you think that it was that easy to say those words?"
" Joey I know.."
" No! you don't know! look here Hiro, I summoned all my gutts just to confess to you and you just tell me to forget about it? How convinent of you but I'm sorry to say it's not that easy so wether you like it or not you will bear the consequences."
" Joey don't do this."
" No! I won't listen, from now on beware because Joey Santillian never backs out form her words. I will make you fall for me Hiro!"
I turned away and walked away. Damn! I really wanted to cry infront of him at that moment but there is no turning back now, I have to pull myself together. I have to prove to him that my feelings for him is true no matter what. Minutes past I slowly opened my eyes and I remembered I was inside the library. I sat properly and rubbed my eyes and I was greeted by the most handsomest face I have ever seen in my life, well for me though.
" Good morning Hiro." I said sleepy.
" It's already past afternoon Joey and you shouldn't be sleeping inside the library." Hiro said in a monotonous voice.
" Yeah, good morning too Joey." I said to myself. Hiro just let out a heavy sigh./
" I really don't know what's running inside that head of yours Joey."
" Oh! you are interested to know?"
" Never mind." Hiro stood up and gathered his things.
" Hey you're leaving already?"
" I have to go to the coffee shop."
" I'll come with you, I'm going to buy coffee" Hiro looked at me doubly as if he was thinking that I'm just making things up so I could just be with him. well he is partly right with it though. "I am going to buy coffee, promise." While raising my right hand.
" Whatever you say."
" Okay!"
We walked together in going to the coffee shop and we were both silent and as usual I couldn't stand it.
"So Hiro how was school?"
" You sounded like a mother."
" Really? is it a good thing or a bad thing?"
" It sounds like I'm talking to an old woman."
