Chapter 2, Tea, Compliment, and Name

Waking up early in the morning because of Hanji's annoying loud knock patterns or barging into my room or even worst, jumping over me, I'm used to it. Hanji would always do that to me but, this time was really different.
She called my last name twice already. I quickly sat up form where I was lying when I bumped my forehead to something really hard. I groaned and rubbed my head while I looked on the side to see a blurry figure standing beside me, assuming that it was Hanji. Well, just like what I've said before, Hanji is the only person here in the Survey Corps who would actually do that.
" Hanji, " It was the third time I've called her name yet, she didn't even response. " Hey, Hanji. This isn't fun— " I was cut off when I heard her clicked her tongue but, wait! Hanji never ever have or doesn't even click her tongue. This got me into sudden realization.
I stopped rubbing my forehead and frantically rubbed my blurry visions. I looked to the figure and into my surprised it was. " Corporal Levi! " I blurted as I quickly stood up with a messy salute. " What brings you here, Corporal? " I asked as I stared at him, biting my inside cheeks. He cleared his throat and started. " First of all, cadet Ral there's no need to be shitty formal. Second, " He looked at me and sighed. " You weren't answering all my knocks so, I thought something might have happened to you. That's why I barged into your room and lastly, don't you know it was the second time I've called your name? "
" I'm sorry, Corporal. " I said as I looked down. He sighed again and walked away. " I'll be waiting for you outside. Get changed already. " Then, he shut the door.

After doing such things and getting changed already, I quickly went out of my room to see Corporal leaning against the wall. " Um, Corporal? " I called while I closed the door behind me. " Hmm? "
" I'm sorry but, what really brings you here? " I asked as I gave him a short glance.
" I think you've forgotten what I've told you last night. "
" Last night? " I asked as I tried to remember what he told me. " Tomorrow, you'll come with me to the infirmary. We'll get your foot check and so for today you need to rest. "
" Oh. " I gasped with a little crooked smile.
Silence took over us, that only footsteps, chit chats, and rustling of the leaves outside can be heard. I was childishly playing with my fingers when I felt a pair of eyes were set on me, which I completely ignored. While my attention was set on my own fingers, which I was really childishly playing at, I tripped over something which made me lost my balanced and flinched in pain. Why? Because my injured foot was the one that hit it. I closed my eyes and wait for my body to make contact with the ground.
Instead of me expecting myself from falling, a pair of muscular arms caught me. I quickly fluttered my eyes open to see Corporal have me in his arms. Light shades of pink quickly made their way to my cheeks. Random soldiers were staring at us that some were whispering to each, some were giving glares normally that comes from those girls, and what's worst, some were also teasing while using the word love birds, ayie, and such.
I quickly stood up with the assistance of the Corporal while I looked down on my feet and quickly walked in a fast pace. While doing so, I buried my face onto my hands and started shaking my head. " Ah! That was embarrasing! " I scolded myself.
