Cloaks.

My heart pounded against my chest as I ran through the burning and collapsing trees. Light sparks would hit my face, but it didn't phase me. The sound of cracking earth blared, causing me to look down. A think crack started before it grew wider. "I was only human!... I was only human!" I repeated.

earlier that day..

My eyes flew open and I let out a gasp as a flash of last night appeared. Shooting out of the bed I pressed my body into the wall, trying to cover myself. "Ivory.." Louis's aqua eyes drowned mine as he appeared in front of me. "I'm so sorry.." He whispered before letting my cry into his shoulder. Whimpers left my lips as he held me. "It's not your fault.." I replied wiping my fallen tears. "I'm sorry..." He kept repeating making me confused. "Louis I sa-" My hands grabbed a hold his face and I froze. Those aqua eyes we're gone and that was probably the last time I would see them a normal sea green. "For doing this." In a single second his teeth sunk into my neck.

I cried out in pain when black cloaks suddenly appeared around us.

"Get him off of her!"

Someone spat as I slowly sunk into the floor. Louis was ripped from my flesh and my hand immediately went to the bleeding holes. My head flew in every direction as four black cloaks stood in front of me. Heavy dark clothes dipped, not revealing their faces. "Rid of him" my eyes fear filled eyes flew to the midnight eyes boy. My arms were suddenly grabbed by two of them, dragging me out of the room.

But right before that door closed I saw it.

The way they snapped his neck in one turn, that was the end of him. "Wait!?" I screamed tears flooding down my face. Yet it was too late. Louis laid there dead on the hardwood floor. This can't be the end!

So much has happened in a week, and my world has just fallen apart!

Again, Who were these people though?
