DESTINED NEXUS

A glistened tear slipped from my eye,

as I searched for the man with the black satin tie.

I attended countless masquerades, only to find him in the masked face.

I sighed every time I recalled the connection I felt for no one but he, had kindled my wilt.

As I walked down the aisle, alone with a sigh,

I heard footsteps following me which bewildered me to the point of a shriek.

I turned shudderingly to find the man whom I had made my quest.

"You dropped your bracelet." He spoke in his baritone. I murmured a thank you as I stretched my hand to take it.

His face was covered only his tie revealed his ipseity.

"Do you remember me?" I asked with hesitation and to my surprise he nodded in recognition.

"I must be going." I said with a heavy heart , only wanting him to stop me from proceeding on my ladened path.

Before I parted ways with him, he held my hand to put on the bracelet around my wrist's rim.

The entire motion held my breath and my heart till he finished and left for his abode.

I stood still, completely frozen while the winds kept brushing my hair to my despair.

"We reconnected!" I spoke in retrospection while I waited for a meet to happen in another resurrection.
