It's been two weeks and I've been really busy with work. I also got Alex a new puppy she named Jenny, she was a chocolate lab. After another long day of work and getting to know the new employee I went home and went straight to bed.

"BING,BING!!"

"AHHH!" I screamed awoken by the noise. I look around trying to find what was making that sound.

"BING,BING!!" I jumped again to the binging. I saw on my desk my computer half shut was flashing a bright white light with the time reading 3:00am, I raced over to see what it was. It was emails, from Jessie.

"Hmm, that's weird. Jessie has a phone so why is she emailing me?" I asked myself. I opened the email reading the first one;

jessienobel@yourspace.net April 4, 2016 6:00 a.m.

Oh my god, Rylee I just got robbed!

Concerned, I opened the next one.

jessienobel@yourspace.net April 4, 2016 6.07 a.m.

Rylee, my phone, my watch and my purse are gone! I am too scared to go downstairs to see if anything else was stolen. Luckily my laptop was under the bed and wasn't stolen. But I am freaking out right now. I was awoken by Jet and Kiki downstairs. Can you get here now!!

I had to go and see what was going on so I put my hair up in a pony and left. I grabbed Shasta because she has a good sniffing nose so she'd be able to sniff out people. I jumped into my car and left. When I reached her apartment I looked under her doormat and grabbed the spare keys. I opened the door and I ran into her apartment. Her dog was barking as I looked in her living to see her tv was missing from its table. I walked down the hall and saw her bathroom and guest bedroom doors open. She usually keeps those shut. I walked into the bathroom and said, "Jessie it's me, I'm here. You can come out." Jessie started walking out of her room with her dog and with a blanket shaking. I ran over and hugged her.

"You're okay, I am here now." a thump all the sudden came out of her guest bedroom. I turned a started walking in there. Jessie grabbed me, "No don't do it." I pushed her off and I walked in. I opened the door and the window was open. The curtains were blowing in the wind. A few minutes later I turned around and looked at Jessie, "They're gone." I said. She looked at me, tears in her eyes.

"Can I stay at your place for awhile?" she asked me.

"Sure! And bring your pets too." I said smiling. She gave a tiny smile back.

"But before we get to your house can we stop by the police st-" Mazie started to bark like there was someone in the house so I let her off the leash. She sniffed until she got to the front door. She began scratching at the front door. Whimpering and begging to get outside. I opened the door and a man dressed in all black stood there. He held up a pistol and pointed at me and Jessie.

"What else do you girls have?" he asked.

"Nothing of valuable sir. We promise you took all we have sir," I was trying to bargain with his unreasonable tone of voice.

"Are you sure," he looked around, "What about this pretty mutt here." he pointed at Mazie.

"No sir, trust me, you don't want her." I said trying to make a story before he took her.

"And why shouldn't I?" he asked slyly, smiling behind his mask.

"Because, she will rip you to shreds." I smiled. Jessie backed up and pulled out my phone from my pocket. She dialed 911 and whispered there is a robber and we have distracted him, and that it's perfect timing to come catch him. She also told them to not put their sirens on so that he couldn't hear them.
