Just as Jeff said, he was off of his crutches within days after his parents went out of town just in time for Jessica's party. Although Terry was worried that it was too soon for him to go out partying again, she quickly forget her worries once Jeff showed her the liquor.

"Woohoo!" Terry cheered as Jeff lugged in the bottles of liquor into the kitchen. Zach had gotten their mother out of the house while they were sorting out the alcohol to take to Jessica's party.

Jeff quickly poured a shot of tequila into the small glass for Terry to down, since she wasn't driving anyway. Before Terry could snatch up the drink to down it, Zach stopped her. "No heavy drinking, especially if the both of you are going to be drinking." Zach ordered.

Terry scoffed and pushed Zach out of the way as she downed the tequila in one fiery gulp. "Don't worry about it, Zach. I won't drink much, maybe I'll have one beer but after that— it's water all the way." Jeff allowed Zach to relax.

Zach nodded and grabbed up the bags of alcohol. "I've got to go help Justin and Jess set up, Mom will be back in thirty— be out of the house by then." Zach told as he exited the house, entered his car and sped away.

Terry bit her lip as she eyes Jeff. She wrapped her arms around him and leaned her head in the crook of his neck. The two began swaying to the nonexistent music as they whispered sweet nothings into each other's ears for a few moments, making plans for the fun night ahead, then they broke apart and left the house— off to Jessica's house.

Jeff led Terry over to the beer pong table. "Who wants to play beer pong?!" He shouted and a swarm of teenagers, that were attending the party, then swarmed around the beer pong table.

"How do you play this?" Terry asked Jeff, turning to him with a puzzled looked smeared across her face.

Another figure walked up behind Terry and hovered over her. His shadow was massive compared to her small frame, yet Terry still managed to make up her small physical appearance with her large personality. "You throw the ball like in ping pong, and if you make it into a cup— your opponent has to chug a beer." A low voice sounded from the figure behind her. Terry spun on her heel and locked her eyes with the boy that was speaking. It was Bryce.

Terry smiled kindly, then grabbed the ball that had been settled on the table, and leaned over the table as she aimed the ball. Before she could bounce the ping pong ball, she felt an unfamiliar hand brush up under her dress. Terry instantaneously turned around, her arm already swinging out, and realize who had just touched her inappropriately.

Terry attempted to swing her fist across the convict's, Bryce's, face, but he grabbed her arm and twisted it before it made contact with his face. "I'm just trying to be friendly, Little Dempsey." He shrugged, a smug smirk crossing his face.

"Let go of her!" A softer, female voice sounded. Terry searched the crowd to see who it was, and she noted that it was Hannah, with much shorter hair, who rose her voice.

Jeff suddenly realized what was going on and shoved Bryce away from Terry. "Get the fuck off of my girl." Jeff barked.

An uproar of hollering from the boys, who quickly swarmed around Jeff and Bryce to watch the two argue, broke out. "I was just trying to teach her how to play the game." Bryce shrugged, pretending to be innocent in the matter.

"I'm sure I could've handled that." Jeff crossed his arms, scoffing.

Bryce raised his hands up in surrender. "Hey, I was just saving her from you explaining it in baseball terms." He joked.

Terry ripped through the crowd and yanked Jeff by his arm away from Bryce. "Don't worry about it," Terry waved off to keep Jeff from destroying the party with a fight.

Jeff huffed, his breaths were heavy and his heart raced as adrenaline sprinted through his body. "I'm going to beat that son of a—" Jeff jolted forward in the direction where Bryce was telling lies to his other buddies, but Terry yanked him back to her.

She placed her head on his chest and wrapped her arms around him, embracing him tightly. "Don't let him ruin the rest of our night." Terry's soothing words calmed Jeff right down, causing him to return to the friendly Jeff everyone knew and loved.

Jeff nodded as he allowed all of his anger to escape his body. "I love you, Terry. I don't want anything to ever happen to you." Jeff spoke out the three words every girl ever wanted to hear from their boyfriends. Terry buried her face into his chest even more to conceal the blush creeping on her face.

Jeff lifted Terry's face up to meet his and he neared his face to hers. They both simultaneously closed their eyes and moved closer to one another. Bryce watched furiously from afar, but continued to down his beer as if nothing was wrong. Just as Terry and Jeff's lips were about to connect, Jessica stepped outside and began to shout: "The DJ is finally here!"

A roar from the crowd outside had the ground shaking from underneath them and then the herd began to run indoors to enjoy the good music in comparison to Jessica's boring playlist. Terry pulled away from Jeff, leaving him hanging, and began to jump up and down excitedly.

"Let's go dance!" She grabbed Jeff's arms and pulled him inside.
