                Emma's P.O.V

I wake up in gigantic room on a bed with red silk sheets. I have never been a such a giant room or slept on such fine sheets before. Benny made me sleep on a crappy couch to sleep on. I wasn't ever allowed a bed. I think I'm going to like it here. I just hope my mate never rejects me.

He won't

I heard Faith say

How do you know for sure.

Because he got us after from that awful pack. He cares for us.

I just afraid he'll still reject us.

No worry about it.

The door opened and in walked Joe. He was hiding something behind his back.

"Hey, you're awake," Joe said.

"Yeah, what do you get there?" I asked.

Joe pulled a chocolate cupcake with candle from behind his back.

"You looked a little upset that you didn't to celebrate your birthday," Joe answered," I know it's not much."

I took the cupcake and smiled.

"This is the first time someone made something for my birthday," I explained," I always cooked and cleans on my birthday and watched the pack have fun on my birthday."

"Well, make a wish?" Joe asked.

"What if it already come true?" I asked.

"Then make a new wish," Joe answered.

I wish Joe never lets anything bad happen to me, that he really does care for us.

I blow out the candle.

"So, what do you wish for?" Joe asked.

I grinned at him and said," Don't anyone ever tell you not to tell you wishes to them or it won't come true?"

Joe laughed. I love his laugh and smiles.

"I guess you're right," Joe replied," I was just curios."

"How about I make you a deal?" I told him.

"What kind of deal?" Joe asks.

"I promise to tell you if it comes true or not," I answered.

"Okay deal," Joe said.

I take a bite of the cupcake. I moaned at how good it was.

"Do you like it?" Joe asks.

"Yeah, it's really good," I said.

Joe laughed and smiled at me.

"What?" I asked, looking confused.

"It take me hours to make batches of cupcakes get it just right," Joe explained.

I sat the cupcake aside and climbed into his lap.

"You didn't have to do that," I said.

"Of course I did," Joe replied.

I nodded okay.
