Joe's P.O.V

There was a party at the Fang Blood pack's house tonight. The alpha there wanted an alliance with my pack. Black Claws pack is the biggest and baddest pack all over the state of Oregon. I ran with an iron fist and take down any rogues or werewolves that are a threat to my pack. I was getting some work done when Stella walked in wearing a short skirt and the most revealing shirt I have ever seen on a girl. We have had sex in the past year and half.

I didn't want to be a virgin when I met my mate and we finally mated. But I have been grumpy ever since I turned eighteen last year and haven't find my mate yet. Maybe I'll find her at Fang Blood pack or one of the other two packs that was coming. Stella sat in front of me. I looked at her and saw that she wanted me again. I tried to break things off since she find her mate but she doesn't mind cheating but I did.

"What do you want, Stella?" I asked.

"I noticed that you have been tense lately and I wanted to help ease that stress," Stella answered.

"Well, I'm busy right now," I said.

I couldn't go on sleeping with her when she's one of my closest friend's mate.

"Oh, come on, babe you know that I can help you," Stella replied, rubbing my arm up and down.

"Get out," I told her," I don't want to do this anymore."

"What?" Stella asked, looking heart broken.

"You hear me, I'm done fucking you," I explained," Now why didn't you go back to your mate?"

"What?" Stella said," No, I don't want him, I want you."

"Too bad because once I find my mate, I'm not going to want you," I explained," I'm just ending before that happens."

Stella looked upset as she left.

Hours later

I walked into the Fang Blood Pack house. Benny, the alpha of the pack and a blond girl walked up to me.

"Thank you for coming, Alpha Joe," Benny said.

"Like I'm going to turn down a party for my pack," I replied," They love to party."

I watched as my pack member danced and drank alcohol.

"I'm Stephanie," said the girl, shaking my hand.

She was cute but she had her hands all over me. It was disgusting to me now.

"So, who's party is this for?" I asked.

Benny looked around and looked angry.

"EMMA, GET DOWN HERE NOW," Benny yelled.

It may be this Emma girl's party.

"So, it's Emma's party?" I asked," What's this girl like?"

"She's a nobody," Stephanie answered," We just wanted to party tonight and it just happened to be on her birthday."

"Steph, be nice," Benny said.

"What, I'm just being honest," Stephanie replied," We don't want our friendly alpha here wasting his time with a nobody."

I started to smell this sweetest smell I have ever smelt before. It was Strawberries and cream and roses.

Mate

My wolf Jake said. I looked around and saw the most beautiful girl I have ever saw at the bottom of the stairs. She looked sexy and so beautiful in her black dress and heels and curled red hair. She walked over to us. I grinned as she got closer. She gave Benny a death glance as she looked at him. Benny seemed angry for some reason. Her scent smelt like strawberries and cream and roses.

She's our mate!

I finally find my mate and she was so beautiful but she looked like she had some bruises on her. She looked like she tried to hide them with make up, but they were still showing on her wrists.

Someone hurt my mate. I'll see that she'll never be hurt ever again.

"Alpha Joe, this is Emma Fallen," Benny said, looking angrily at her.

"Mate," I growled.

Benny and Stephanie gasped at what I said.

"Now, why would you want her as your mate when you can have me," Stephanie said, touching my arm.

That was a mistake because Emma jumped on her and start to punch her over and over again.

"He's mine, not yours," Emma yelled, "You're nothing but a bully and a slut."

Stephanie tried to get Emma off her but Emma slammed her head into the ground. I had to stop this before it got worse. I pulled Emma off Stephanie, but she tried to fight to get out of my arms.

"Stop before you hurt yourself," I told her.

She relaxed in my arms, but she still seemed angry.

"No, you all abused me for years," Emma yelled," Now Stephanie's trying to steal my mate."

"What?" I yelled.

"Oh, come on, he's just going to reject and hurt you like the rest of us have," Stephanie said.

Emma tried to attack Stephanie again but I pulled her out of the house. I put her in my Jeep.

"Drove," I told my driver.

"Where are we going?" Emma asked.

"I'm taking you to my pack house and getting you away from these awful pack," I told her.

"What about my party?" Emma asked, looking a little upset.

"We'll have one this weekend, we can celebrate you being the Luna of my pack, too," I answered," I just want my mate to be somewhere where she is happiest."

She put her head on my shoulder. My wolf get excited when she touched me. I had to do everything I could to calm him. He wanted to mate with her wolf. But I wanted her to be safe and 100% sure before I throw sex into our new relationship.

"Thank you for not rejecting me," she said, yawning.

"Sleep, I'll woke you when we get there," I told her.

She must be tired. I put her on my lap as she fall asleep fast. I don't understand why anyone would want to hurt such a sweet, beautiful girl for. I'm going to make sure she's take care of.
