Jamie (POV)

After breakfast, Tyler and I went to homeroom. I quickly made my way to the back to get a good seat.
"I really didn't want to come to this school...at all," I said sighing and putting my books on the desk.
" This school looks fine to me," Tyler said sitting down and looking around the classroom. "There's a lot of sexy girls here..." he smiles at one who smiles back. I rolled my eyes. "Suree.." I looked around the classroom myself and spotted this really cute guy staring at me. I smiled and he smiled back, ignoring his friends who were talking to him. Tyler tapped me on my shoulder. "Uhmm Jamie, i'm gonna go to the bathroom." I turned away from the boy. "Okay," I said opening up my favorite sketchbook. I flipped though the messy book looking for a blank page. When I finally find a page, I glance at the boy and quickly start to sketch him.
"Is that me?"
I quickly turned to my left and see the same boy looking into my sketchbook. "Nope," I said closing the notebook and blushing. "That's my uhmm brother." The boy smiles. "He looks a lot like me though.." He tried to take the book away from me. I snatched the book away and smiled. "Yeah he does." The boy looks at me checking my features. "I'm Jacob. And you are?" "I'm Jamie" i said perking up.
Jacob moved closer. "Cute name." "Thanks. I like you're name too. But I'm gonna call you Jake." Jake laughed. "Okay i like that." The teacher comes in the classroom telling the students to settle down. He got up to go back to his friends. "I'll see you later?" i asked. He turned around and smiled. "Yeah you will." Then he turned around and left. I giggled surprised at how well my day was turning out already. The rest of the class was just a daze. When i realized that Tyler wasn't going to be coming back to the class any time soon, I perfected my sketch of Jake a little bit. Something about the way he looked was just so sexy and amazing. I was pretty sure I was going to have a dream about him.
When the class was almost over, the teacher exclaimed, " Oh! I forgot! We have to play a game!" The students groaned. A game..? This is not middle school.. I thought.
"Okay. So this is a really simple game! All you have to do is go around and tell us about yourselves. We'll start with the front row and go down. Ready Go!" Each student was very unthusiastic. The girls were of course, telling us more information than we needed to know and the boys said only a sentence. When it was Jacob's turn, he went stood up and looked right at me. I blushed. "My name is Jacob and I'm 15. I play a lot of sports and I sing too. I perked up. He can sing. Lord Jesus. It was something about boys with musical talents that made me really excited. Singing in particular. I smiled. When Jacob sat down the girls looked at Jacob with too much interest. Then the game continued and I eventually got bored and took out my sketchbook.
"And now we have....Jamie. Jamiee." I looked up and everybody was looking at me. I sighed and stood up. The boys looked at me with interest. "Well. My name is Jamie. I skate, sketch, and I make music." I sat down satisfied with what I said.
"Well I guess that's the end of the class. It was nice meeting you all have a nice day!

Tyler (POV)
As soon as I got in the classroom i didn't want to be there, even if Jamie was there. So I decided to skip homeroom. I went to the bathroom and locked myself in a stoll thinking about the school so far. Since I met Jamie, the day has gotton a little bit better. There are also a lot of cute girls here. So I figured that I was going to have fun. I too out my phone and sarted texting people and soon enough, class was over. As soon as I heard the bell, I ran out the bathroom. I went to the classroom to get my books, and then Iwalked over to my locker. When I saw Jamie, I mad my way over there. Then this dude just comess out of nowhere and starts talking with her. I stopped walking to see what they were talking about. Obviously he was flirting. I mean, Jamie was really pretty. I was surprised I didn't start flirting when I saw her. The boy took out his phone and gave it to Jamie and she typed something in and took a picture of herself. Then she handed back
the phone and he walked away. I could see her blushing al the way from here. When he was gone, I walked over to her.
"Hey," I said opening my locker. She playfully punched my arm. "You left me!" she pouted. I smiled. "oh yeah. Sorry about that. but I see you made a friend." She blushed and her face immediately lit up. "Oh you saw? Wasn't he sexy?" "uhmm suree," I said closing my locker. She closed her locker too. "I have to go to the bathroom, so you can go to homeroom without me," she saidlooking around for the bathroom. "Okay," I said and I walked away.

Jamie (POV)
As soon as I went to my locker, Jake found me. I gave him my number and then he said he would see me later. Then Tyler came up and we talked for a while. He was funny and I liked him a lot. I was realy glad I found him. When I realized that I had 3 minutes left, I decided to go to the bathroom. While I was looking for it sommebody called my name.
"Jamie!"
I turned around. It was some girls from my class. I frowned. I really didn't want any drama on the first day of school. I tried to smile. "Oh you're from my first period!" The girl who called my name smiled. She was tall with long brown hair with a small nose "Yeah my name is Lin. This is Laura, Ashley, and Hannah." They all smiled and waved. I smiled and waved back. Maybe they weren't so bad and were just trying to get to know me. "So you make music for real?" Lin asked. "Yeah I play at clubs sometimes.." I said, feeling like I was bragging. "So you're like a dj ??"Hannah asked. "You could say that" I shrugged. "I've never heard you and I go to clubs every week." said Laura looking at me. "Well obviously you don't go to the clubs I go to,"I said shrugging. The bell rang. "Well now I'm late. I'll see you guys later," i said tying to look for my science class.
"Well now you scared her off," Lin said rolling her eyes. Laura shrugged and walked off.
-At the end of school-
Jamie (POV)
The rest of the school day was easy. More people approached me and wanted to get to know me more. I wallked home wit Tyler and visited his house. And Jacob texted me all night. It was a pretty good day. Except for that Laura girl. What was her problem? I thought about it all night but then before I fel asleep, I realized that I shouldn't let her ruin my good day. I fell asleep after a really nice talk with Jacob, thinking about what i was going to wear tomorrow.
