Stary Night

Sitting on the couch with Raven and EJ, we watched TV. I had gotten used to living with everyone, other than the smell of EJ's food choices; but Slender did a good job a keeping the scent away. I got up and trotted down the hall. Strolling by LJ's room I found the door open. I peeked inside to find LJ packing all his candy into a bag that sat on his bed next to a small windup box.

What's going on? I asked startling him.

"Oh hi Felix, just a bit of packing." He inquired as he waved his large clawed hand at the items. I frowned.

Why, are you leaving? I asked crossing my arms. He turned to the large bag and slung it over his shoulder.

"Me and a few others are being relocated." He said as he grabbed the small box in his free hand. I didn't know what to say. I knew I'd miss him, but I had no control over the matter.

Who's all being relocated?

"Jill, Candy Cane, Candy Pop, Jason, Kagekao, Sliver, Storm, Snow, and I." He listed off giving me a sad look. Quickly he pulled his mouth into a large grin. "But I know we'll see each other again." With that he bobbled out of the room. It took me a minute to let it sink in. Quietly (When am I not?) I shifted back to the living room to see everyone go. I was glad to see Storm going but everyone else had grown on me. It wasn't going to be a happy sight seeing them leave. We all said goodbye. Sally shed a few tears, but we all were going to miss them. After they left, I went to the kitchen to get something to eat.

*Raven's POV*

"Hey Pup?" I asked looking in his direction.

He gazed up. "Ya."

"Have you seen Felix anywhere?"

He smiled. "I think I saw him in the kitchen earlier, come on." I got up and followed him. When we entered the kitchen there was only Bloody Painter. He was sitting at the table sketching in his art book.

"Hey, have you seen Felix anywhere?" Puppeteer asked as he tapped on his shoulder. Irritated Painter turned towards Pup and quickly replied. "No." I started to get worried.

Felix will be okay right? He's got his pickaxe right? Oh no, what if he doesn't have it?

Quickly I tore down to his room.

Please be in here. I hoped.

Throwing open the door, my eyes darted through out the room. Falling to the floor tears filled my eyes. He wasn't in his room and his pickaxe laid neatly against the wall. Swiftly I got up and ran to each and every room searching for him. He was no where to be seen. Running down the hall I bumped into Jeff.

"Whoa! What's wrong kid?" He asked helping me off the floor where I landed.

"Felix is missing." I mumbled out. I didn't even lash out when he called me kid, which threw him into a loop. I knew he was actually younger than me, but I was shorter. He's thirteen and I'm fifteen.

"Missing?"

I nodded my head. I couldn't speak, it felt like a large lump was caught in my throat.

"Let's go find him." He said smiling. He gentle patted my head and pulled out his knife. Quickly Jeff and I left the house without telling anyone. I was to worried about Felix to worry what Slender would do to us for not saying anything.

Felix always told me he would protect me. Now it was my turn. My voice echoed threw my head as I looked to the stars. It was lonely without his voice in my head.
